These questions remind me of when I was much younger. As the last born in my house, there was little I could do whenever anyone angered me. So whenever I was angry, I used to go inside my wardrobe. It's a built in wardrobe and I was portable in size. Sometimes I'd stay there for so long and even fall asleep. That hasn't changed much, I no longer stay in the wardrobe though 😂, now I just prefer to be by myself.
Anger can be very powerful and I especially hate it when emotions dictate my actions (except love sha😌😂). Now if anyone angers me, I just leave their vicinity and tell myself to deal with it. I've heard this is bad but I guess that's when it's recurring.
I avoid talking, especially to the person who angered me because I might get so dramatic 😂😂. When I'm angry, I speak grammar that's not in my vocabulary on a normal day so I can't successfully communicate that moment. And when I'm angry-hurt, attempting to talk can open the flood gates😂😂, so talking is not an option.
Depending on the magnitude of the offence, sometimes I call my friends and rant to them. I have a friend, she knows how to talk me out of my anger (I don't know how she does it), even times when I'm the unreasonable one, she knows how to bring my head down.
Sometimes, I just lay down, listen to music and just let peace wash over me
And when I feel sooo physical with the anger, I literally do push-ups 😂😂 or stretches or when I'm outside I just focus on a game on my phone, a violent game 😂🤣. This level of anger is very rare for me and I avoid it as much as possible.
And there are times when I'm just angry at life in general, I simply ask myself why I'm angry and if anger is my best option. That usually solves it, I am able to dismiss the anger very quickly.
