Lapu Lapu City Fiesta 2024: A Night with Friends
Hello dear Hivers, for today's blog series I will bring you to the Fiesta sa Lapu Lapu 2024. Come and join me, and let's enjoy the vibrant fiesta celebration of one of the progressive cities in Cebu, Lapu-Lapu City.
Lapu Lapu City's fiesta celebration is celebrated every November of the year in honor of their patron, "Birhen sa Regla." Lapu Lapu City Fiesta is known for its vibrant and week-long celebration; one of the highlights of the event was their "Garbo sa Lapu Lapu" (Lapu Lapu Pride), which showcases the festival of each barangay of the city. And of course, a fiesta like that of Oponganons wouldn't be complete without exciting rides and perya.
It's time for the rides... I, together with my friends, decided to experience the fiesta in Lapu-Lapu City. Guess where we were directed to? We directly go to the carnival; there we enjoy watching the night at their perya. Prior to getting inside the perya or carnival, we had to buy some tickets as an entrance fee, and I must say it was all worth the cents.
We tried many games, such as the toy gun game thing. I don't know the exact name of the game, but it's the one where you pay, then they will hand you a toy gun loaded, and you will shoot at targets, and if you manage to take down the target, then you will have your price. Unfortunately, I haven't taken down even one target. Anyway, at least I enjoyed the game, and it was made fun because I'm with my friends.
Of course we also tried the rides; we have tried the Frisbee and Vikings. It was a jungling sensation. Hahahah, I can't explain myself. I was like loosening up and drained, and I felt a little bit drowsy, but I'm wide awake. Hahahah, I don't know. Confusing right? Anyway, that was all fun; it really did relieve my stress from work and review.
Overall, my experience at Lapu Lapu City Carnival was a blast; it was one of the most fun and enjoyable moments I had with my friends. Sometimes, all you need is just a good time with friends. If you feel like you're drained and want to loosen up, you have to go out and take yourself a break from whatever exhausts or drains your energy. It's not bad to treat yourself sometimes; go out and live your life; just make sure to ensure a work-life balance. If you are still waiting for a sign to hang out with your friends, then this is your sign to do it, but sometimes it's also okay to be alone, know, and enjoy yourself more. Plan your hangout now; the holiday season is just around the corner; don't forget to give yourself some leeway.
