Crown of the old are the grandchildren,
And the honor of the children, their parents.

My father has a very special love for my two children, he loves them very much and shows them much affection and tenderness. He is a very sweet man with them. In truth, being a parent is very flattering. Children fill the heart with great tenderness. When my father comes home the children meet him at the door, run away and say: Grandpa ... Grandpa ...! They are very happy and joyful. My father says those two children are his treasure and his special crown of love.
All of this, of course, is a lesson for me, because I am a very young father. What I teach my children is what I learned from my parents.
My two children are cute and sweet like other children. They fill the whole house with joy. What they see me doing, they also want to do. I really like mechanics and when I see them play, I see them imitating my mechanic behavior. They come with me to check the keys and the tool box and then I see them full of grease. They are faithful imitators of me.
Similarly, they like to play in the park and scamper around the house. My father considers them his crown of joy and they, for me, are a treasure of love. My responsibility as a father is to take care of them and provide them with the material and spiritual, above all, instruct them in the ways of the Lord.

The word says that we parents are the honor of our children. The special crown of the children is the parents, who have the duty and responsibility to educate and prepare healthy and disciplined children for a successful development in society.
Parents must take on the task of educating and preparing our children in the fear of God. For this reason, it is important for children to be taught very early on the word of God and to be brought by their parents to church meetings to share biblical teachings and relate to other children in the church.
Our role as parents must go according to what God commands us in his word, since "the honor of the children are their parents."
