The road in front of Seoul Station looks so chaotic. For a city that was flattened 70 years ago, it's interesting they built it back up in such a spiderweb fashion. I get the whole mountain thing, but surely these harsh angles weren't well thought of in front of a major hub.
I also feel they could do a better job with the roads which is why everyone moves out to the new towns at the edge of the city. That's not even close to the worst area.
Could you imagine a tourist driving past that intersection? Okay, let me just cross 7 lanes to try and find parking.
Yeah usually rent car places for tourists are in smaller towns or near the highway. You do not want to drive in Seoul as a tourist.
