You have a good point, and so, I'll help answer that question for you! Forgive me if I leave any information about the awesomeness of PHC out. There is quite a bit to tell.
Blog Posts Lost In The Shuffle Of HIVE
It wasn't yet called HIVE when I first decided to see if I could earn some crypto through blogging. I already had my own blog and knew how to blog, so I figured I'd check it out.
That old blockchain sure looked appealing from what I could see. People were earning all sorts of cryptocurrency with lots of votes on their posts. After publishing my first few posts, I realized I wasn't likely to make it far on my own.
Unless you're an online legend when you start, nobody is going to know who you are. It's like the first day of school all over again, but harder. There is no teacher or mentor to help you fit in.
Or is there?
My Invitation To Join
I stuck it out for 6 or 7 posts in about a two week time period. That's when my opportunity came along. The founder of PHC, @jaynie, came across one of my posts or comments. Either way it happened, she noticed my blog and offered an invitation.
Accepting that invite was one of the best moves I ever made within the Cryptosphere. It provided a platform to showcase my writing where people were actually reading. I found a Community of like-minded individuals who offered support to one another.
If my story is something that sounds familiar to you and you want to succeed on HIVE, what other reasons do you need? Not that there aren't other reasons.

A Dynamic Duo!
It wouldn't be right to go any further without mentioning the Community leadership. From day one, Jaynie has had people step up to help. But also from day one as far as I know, @zord has been by her side.
Jaynie is the founder and Zord is like her psychic sidekick. If you have a question and Jaynie isn't available, Zord had the answer. And vice versa.
This resolves any questions concerning community support. If neither Jaynie or Zord has your answer, someone in the community will.
The Daily Rally!
Everyday a random post from a member of PowerHouseCreatives is chosen for the Daily Rally. What does that mean? It calls all the other members to participate in supporting that article.
Don't worry. It's not mandatory so you won't get in trouble if you miss a day here or there. This is a great way to force yourself to mingle if that makes you uncomfortable. We leave a comment, give an upvote and a reblog to the post on the Daily Rally.
The Daily Rally helps members get to know each other and it also boosts the writers' work. This often puts that work in front of a larger HIVE audience!
PHC On #HIVETwitter
Posts you publish as a PHC member receive votes from the Community Account. They also may get votes from the founder, Jaynie, along with some other accounts. In addition to upvotes, PHC reblogs each post that it supports. But that's not all.
PHC is fully committed to growing the value of HIVE. As such, Jaynie has built a strong following on Twitter. If you use Twitter at all, your posts will also be shared there by the PHC account.
Want more ways to draw attention to your blog? You got it. PHC has got at least one more. Take part in community initiatives!
Community Initiatives
Once you become a member of PowerHouseCreatives, we encourage you to participate in any of the Community Initiatives! In case you missed it, #ThriveOnHive made a huge splash. It was a community cannon ball that reached thousands of listeners.
Initiatives don't happen every week. When they do, it brings a renewed feeling of togetherness. They also remind us of how much power we have when we stand together as one! If you like to make the sort of friends you can count on to have your back, PHC is the place to find them.
Two Easy Rules & One Strong Suggestion
Rules don't come much simpler than they do as a member of PHC. This may be a cause of concern, so I'll go over them in parting.
1. Be respectful! Causing a bunch of mayhem and/or insulting others will get you kicked. Easy enough and a standard in any community you join (except maybe @klye).
2. Don't spam the Promo Channel! The PHC Discord Promo Channel is for posts published to the PHC Community only! And one per day total. Spamming the channel will get you kicked.
One Strong Suggestion
When you join, be as active as you can. Post regularly within the community and engage with other members through comments. Get into Twitter and share the strength of PHC with others who may be looking for it. None of this is mandatory, but if you take the initiative and do it, your account will grow.

INVITING HIVE PEEPS
Connecting with other individuals, communicating efficiently and working together effectively is one of the most critical aspects of any successful community project, business or initiative. The Power House Creatives has been working together as a team to support and grow the genuinely passionate individuals on our blockchain since October 2017. Took the day off yesterday to relax a bit. The new version is getting close to complete. Mostly need to finish the multi-token back end stuff at this point and do a final polish.
Having some big bets on the v0.7.9.5 version of the site today.
Nice! I can't imagine coding. Math fries my brain! So does learning sheet music or another language. 👍
I've never been able to read sheet music either! No worries there.
Coding is essentially a logic puzzle. It's not as hard as people make it out to be.. Anyone can code really.. Coding things well without bugs is another matter. lol
This initiative is everything I needed to see here at Hive. I came back after 4 months away and I was feeling a little out of place. This post gave me a focus and I will try to do my best to help the community and grow with it. Thank you so much.
