Haha, funny you mentioned avoid it like the plague. Coronavirus is currently surging across Korea and everyone seems to be avoiding busy areas like the plague except those protesting the government or celebrating the coming rapture.
The Rapture! So they see this as an End Times event. I think it's a little too early to proclaim it as that and I hope it won't wipe out millions of people. And I hope it doesn't shut your country down.
Or ours, I know they're expecting it to hit in various areas here too. I know people were wondering if it would prevent the Olympics in Japan after they've spent tens of billions in new buildings and such.
Yeah, that part of the city is quite intense. Tourists love it when they come and visit Seoul. Most of the time I avoid that area...
I would avoid that area like the plague myself but it would be interesting to visit as a tourist.
