I’ve had an air fryer for some time and it’s mostly been used for cooking frozen oven chips and the like. But I’ve recently discovered a quick tasty evening meal that takes about 15 minutes to make. So Hivers here goes. You will need the following.
An Air Fryer Obviously.
Small steak cut in to 2cm chunks, I tend to use rib eye.
Button mushrooms cleaned and cut in half or quarter depending on size.
Table spoon of Worcestershire sauce.
Tea spoon of garlic granules.
Couple of grinds of black pepper.
Half Tea spoon Chilli flakes if you like things pepping up a bit.
Half table spoon melted butter or olive oil.
Pre heat the air fryer to 200ºC for about 5 minuets, while this is going on you can prep the steak and mushrooms. Mix them together with the Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder and black pepper add a little olive oil or melted butter to lightly coat the steak and mushrooms.
Once the air fryer is hot spread the steak and mushrooms in a layer and cook for around 7 to 8 minutes for medium rare 9 to 10 for well done.
Give them a shake around half way through and add the chilli flakes now if you want to.
I served mine with mash potato’s for a filling quick evening meal.
So there you go Hiver the mashed spuds took longer than the steak and mushrooms.
That looks so yummy🤤
