When cooking a delicious ray fish stew, the ray has a flavor similar to dogfish and is prepared in a similar way. The stew can be accompanied with rice and slices or use the stew to make Venezuelan empanadas.
Cocinando un delicioso guisado de pez raya, la raya tiene un sabor similar a cazón y se prepara de forma similar. El guiso puede estar acompañado con arroz y tajadas o usar el guiso para hacer empanadas Venezolanas.
To prepare the stew use the following ingredients:
- Stingray fish
- Garlic
- Chili pepper
- Onion
- Chives
- Celery
- Coriander
- Various seasonings (Ajinomoto, onoto, chicken cube and curry)
Para preparar el guiso use los siguientes ingredientes:
- Pez raya
- Ajo
- Ají
- Cebolla
- Cebollín
- Celery
- Cilantro
- Condimentos varios (Ajinomoto, onoto, cubito de pollo y curry)
All the ingredients are minced very small as shown in the image.
Todos los ingredientes se pican bien pequeños como se muestra en la imagen.
The first thing to do is boil the skate for about 10 minutes. Then wash it well, remove the leather and start to wick.
First we must wash the ray well with plenty of water, then we put it to boil for a period of approximately 10 minutes. At the end of the 10 minutes we remove the stripe, we wait for it to cool a bit to remove the skin, wash it with lemon and finally begin to shred.
Lo primero que debe hacer es poner a sancochar la raya por unos 10 minutos aproximadamente. Luego lavarla bien, se le quita el cuero y se empieza a es mechar.
Primero debemos lavar bien la raya con abúndante agua, luego la ponemos a hervir por un lapso de 10 minutos aproximadamente. Al transcurrir los 10 minutos sacamos la raya, esperamos que se refresque un poco para quitarle la piel, lavarla con limón y por ultimo empezar a desmechar.
Now we use a frying pan and fry the dressings with a little onoto oil, then we place the shredded ray; Add the chicken cube, salt to taste, ajinomoto and the onoto powder to add color. We let it cook for approximately 10 minutes and cover the pan with a low temperature so that the juices come out.
Ahora usamos un sartén y sofreír los aliños con un poco de aceite de onoto, luego colocamos la raya desmechada; agregamos el cubito de pollo, sal al gusto, ajinomoto y el polvo de onoto para darle color. Lo dejamos cocinar por 10 minutos aproximadamente y tapamos el sartén con poca temperatura para que salgan los jugos.
The delicious ray stew is ready, in my case I wanted to accompany it with rice to enjoy this delicious lunch.
