Banana blossom recipe for our breakfast!

Good day hivers!!!!
Another petsa de peligro again hihi ,anyway petsa de peligro is the day that we are running out of budget .
A two or three day before the salary day is we usually experienced the shortage of budget and we called it petsa de peligro.

So for today's blog ,I will be sharing you a banana blossom recipe ,it's a low budget recipe and perfect for today.

Since we are at the country side , everytime we are running out of budget ,I tried to look what I can cook for our meal and today ,I just saw this banana blossom and think a good recipe for it.

What's the ingredients?

We need banana blossoms, spices like onion bell pepper,garlic,tomato but we only have garlic and bell pepper in our kitchen hihi.
We also need a cooking oil ,salt and pepper to taste ,egg and cornstarch.

How to prepare?

First ,cut the banana blossom inti two and peel it off ,remain the young part of the banana blossoms.

Cook it for about two or three minutes by boiling it with water.

When it cooked ,removed from the fire and chop it into a small pieces.

Add 1/2 spoon of salt and squeeze it to remove the banana blossom gums.

Then add the spices you prepared.

Add also 2 tables spoon of cornstarch and egg and add pepper or anything you want for a better taste of it.
Anyway ,I am using two banana blossoms for this recipe.

Heat a pan and a cooking oil.
Then fried it ,you can make a small balls or just flatten the mixture to make is easier to cook.

But then ,I saw a left over Tuna in can so I added it for a better taste hihi.

After a few minutes ,I finish frying the mixture.

Prepare anything you want for a dip ,you can used venigar with soysauce or calamansi ,you can make a gravy or you can use catsup for it.
I preferred to used venigar with chili this is better for me hihi.

Prepare the table and called your family and let's have our meal☺️

And that would be all for today ,I hope you learn something from my blog.

I *feel blessed even if many time we are run ing out of budget for our food but I so blessed coz we can have some food from our sorroundings.
We just need to be creative and be resourceful☺️

Oh my, super tagal na last kain ko nito. I miss it. Huhu. Di lang mahilig sa ganitong luto ang mga oldies mas prefer nila yong sinasaing sa asin lang. Masarap din yon baka want mo etry lalo yong sabaw. UwU. Pero mapaparami kain ko ng rice with this 🤤🤤 I prefer ketchup though than suka ✨

Sila mama din yung ginataan at simpling boiled tsaka may asin okay na Kamila hihi.

KALAMI!!! Ang gana siguro kain neto, the vineger and chilli dip really complements the dish very well (also with tortang talong). Mapapa extra rice tayo nyan 🤣
