My family's favorite breakfast is potatoes and pulses. This is a daily breakfast in my family with bread or parotta. I make this breakfast most of the day. Today I will describe some pictures and methods of cooking these vegetables which is very simple, common, less time required and low cost.

See in Bengali rural society and in urban society we see eating bread or parota as breakfast. And the most readily available is a mixture of potatoes and other vegetables and pulses. When we have potatoes and pulses at hand, we can make vegetables with only potatoes and pulses except other vegetables. And if some vegetables are mixed with it, then its food quality increases and its taste increases many times. Since many families, especially those from middle class families, have to go through a limited income, it is not always possible for them to have breakfast with fish, meat, eggs, etc. So, for them it is the best I think. And it is my family's favorite thing for most of the day.

First you have to slice the potatoes as you can see in the picture. The pulses should be washed very well. Cooking can be done very quickly if I use a pressure cooker. Because it takes a good amount of heat to cook the pulses. So, I use a pressure cooker. Put the potatoes and pulses together in a pressure cooker and boil very quickly with some water. Then take them down and cook them for a while with turmeric, salt and all the spices. If cooked in a pressure cooker, it will take a maximum of 10 minutes to make. So, I can make breakfast for my family very easily and in a short time. Those of you who are busy can easily make this kind of breakfast in the morning with very little time and effort. Most of the time besides cooking these vegetables I can make bread so breakfast is made in a very short time together.
