Hey that's great news, glad everything came together for you.

I'm glad to hear there's plenty water around that part of Portugal, that was something I was concerned about!

    well, people wont tell you that if you ask them, because most people dont harvest rain, and if they do they dont store enough.. i Hope to demonstrate that there is plenty coming from above if we do it right!

    and THANKS for that link! im seriously considering a Yurt to get started! they are Xpensive to buy!

      I'm really quite excited about the prospect of moving to Portugal, buying a small bit of land and generally joining in. I really like the idea of getting started with a water harvesting system.

      I've always wanted to do this, now I'm feeling I'm actually in a position to be able to do it.

      I think a Yurt is the perfect dwelling to start off with, that instructable is pretty thorough too, all you'd need is to find a welder for the central spoke.

        thanks for that comment! glad u think yurts are a good option.. its a hard choice and i dont have much experience with them except for google!
