I wish there were more like it here. Finland is a bit different to the states, as there is a lot of basic stuff here, but nothing very fancy. This one is great though, and it was very busy today too. Even though they stagger the school holiday weeks by region, the place was full, even though the local schools weren't on vacation and I think they don't book field trips during these weeks.

Once school starts here in the US, the children's museums are empty on school days, and over-packed on non school days. Before our eldest started public school, we had those places to ourselves. Once one is in school, the whole shebang of living centers on school schedule.

PRetty much. Here in Finland it is a little different though, as most students don't have "set" hours and instead it runs a bit more like a university with free periods and half days etc. It makes it harder in some ways :D
