John McAfee Setting Up A Privacy Token In Addition To His DEX

Last fall, John McAfee announced his latest venture, a decentralized exchange. The McAfee exchange is going to be something that is outside the reach of the government.

The site is promoted that it requires no KYC and has no central authority.

McAfee feels that centralized exchanges are a point of weakness for the cryptocurrency industry and it is vital to get beyond the reach of governments.

Now he is adding a privacy token to his list of projects.

This token is going to be called GHOST. It will be paired with BTC and ETH providing the ability to swap it out. This token will ensure the privacy of the users and, more importantly, the transactions.

One of the drawbacks to cryptocurency is the transparency it provides. Entities are able to monitor what is taking place and, if centralized, able to stop the transactions.

This is one of the reasons why McAfee is not willing to enlist Ripple.

It is always tough to know McAfee;s motives since he tends to be "all over the place". However, he is consistent with his distaste for the government.

From what I can tell, he wants to create as much as he can that is out of the reach of government.
