"Butterflies are extremely sensitive insects, which react very quickly to unfavorable changes in the ecosystem. They belong to the group of insects (Insecta) and are unique because all parts of their bodies are covered with thousands of tiny scales. The role of butterflies in nature is multiple because in all their developmental stages they contribute the balance of ecological systems because they eat, pollinate and get eaten."
" The swallowtail (Papilio machaon L.) and the striped butterfly (Iphiclides podalirius L.) are easy-to-see diurnal butterflies that belong to the so-called gliders (Papilionidae). At first glance, they are very similar due to their basic yellow color and wingspan of up to eight centimeters."
A beautiful butterfly that I meet less and less...
It used to come to my yard when the lavender bloomed, as well as many other butterflies.....
Every year there are fewer and fewer of them... I met this beautiful specimen of a butterfly at the foot of the Homoljske mountains.....
What would we do without butterflies and field flowers?!
Nature is slowly giving up on us..
I have an oasis of greenery, I am surrounded by trees.... If I spray my fruit, I buy herbal products.... Which are much more expensive, and should be applied more often..
But there aren't many butterflies, just a few...
I hope that next season he will come to my place a little more...
Maybe a little more flowers in the garden?! 🤔
These yellow flowers are at the top of a viewpoint in the Homolha Mountains.... They shine and beautify the plateau, from where the view goes to other peaks and valleys with the river.... There are few people in these areas...
There we still manage to meet some butterflies, some rare flowers and smell the scent of untouched nature.... Small islands that resist civilization....
That's how I will protect my little oasis, so that it will be visited more and more by butterflies... And I hope also by birds... 🥰
Thank you very much for visiting my blog ❤️
Have a nice evening ✨

Hello @suzana72, it seems that these butterflies of the papilionidae family are among the rarest and those that are at greatest risk of becoming extinct.
Hello @elentogether
That's right... They're getting rarer....when I meet them I'm really happy...
