In sewing of garment, there are different ways one can choose to design it which will make the gown unique and attractive, to me, I was given a dress to make which after given it a deep thought, I decided to add my own creativity by sewing bias tape on the front side to give it a beautiful out come.

I began the cutting of the dress on Monday after #needleworkmonday post, I decided to work on the dress, after the cutting process of the A shape gown, which I've done severally without wasting much time, I cut out a stylish sleeve of a basic and flare sleeve using a combine matching lace and the Ankara fabric which was later taped at the hem with a bai's tape.

After the sewing of the sleeve, I went ahead to work on the main bodice of the of the gown, first, I bought 3 rolls of bias tape then I drew a straight line starting from the chest line down to the hem of the dress, after which I started sewing the bias tape on the line.

To add the York, I placed the front bodice of the gown on a folded lace fabric I bought then cut out the shape of the neckline to the chest line and I sew it on the gown then I went further to sew the front and back together.

Finally, the sleeve and the gown were sewn together and I have this beautiful completed gown here, I hope you like it.
