Season greetings to you all in this great community and hive, I hope you are all having great time with family and friends, love ones and everyone around, it's Christmas and also a time to show live to others regardless how little it is, the most important thing is that you should try to show love to someone this season, talking about giving out gift to people around us, I will be sharing with you today one of the pouch I made for the grandma's in my neighborhood as Christmas gift, it is my little way of celebrating the season with the aged women around me.

Just like I made a tote bag with zipper for my sister using fabric, I thought of making some pouch and give it out as gift, knowing it will be well appreciated and useful for keeping little items most especially phones. I will be making different types which I will be sharing the process and beautiful outcome here.

Starting with the first one, I made the pouch with a folded bottom and a zipper for safe keeping of the items that would be kept in it.

Let me take you through the cutting and sewing process.

I cut out 12 x 8" from a particular fabric with lining and interfacing which was ironed on the fabric.

At the tip of the main fabric, I sew on a zipper on both sides with lining.

Then the zipper was opened to the middle and I placed the fabric to fabric and lining to lining.

At the bottom, I folded in 1" and sew on both sides, leaving an opening on the lining where it can be turned inside out.

It was turned inside out through the opening on the lining.

Finally, the pouch was turned to the right side through the zipper opening and I have my first pouch ready.

I hope you like the beautiful outcome of this pouch, I will proceed in making the others as this will be set aside.
