Homoeoxipha lycoides

in Nature Observer18 hours ago

Nature always gives us extraordinary surprises every second, including small creatures that often escape our attention. Like the Homoeoxipha lycoides insect that I encountered, even though this insect lives side by side with us. I found this insect dancing on the leaves of the canna lily plant.

If our vision is not sharp enough, this insect will not be visible, because its body is so small. Their body size is what makes us often miss the opportunity to observe their beauty and uniqueness. Moreover, this small insect has a lot of behavior. Throughout the meeting with me, the insect never stayed still, it continued walking around on the leaves.

While enjoying his many antics, my brain kept spinning thinking about ways to successfully capture beautiful moments from him. Because he never stays still, I tried to take a photo of him walking around. Continue taking photos without trying to see the results first, because my feeling says that many of the images I get will definitely be blurry and my feeling also says that among the blurry ones there will be some that are worthy of publication.

The insect has three interesting color variations, namely red, pale yellow and black. The color contrast it has is very suitable for the place where it is standing. At that time the light was just right, the sun was not yet shining brightly. So that the insect managed to appear gracefully.
