I have a small greenhouse in my garden and one day I saw a butterfly there. It was Lesser Purple Emperor (Apatura ilia), a beautiful and large butterfly, which in the case of the male shows a blue-violet shine on its wings in the rays of the sun, but in the female this effect does not occur (i.e. the female is in the photo). Its food is tree sap and fluids contained in rotting organic substances. It is found throughout Europe and Asia. Look at its antennae: they have orange tips. 😀
This butterfly probably felt my intentions to help it get out of the greenhouse, because it boldly sat on my fingers.😀

W ogrodzie mam małą szklarnię i pewnego dnia zobaczyłem tam motyla.

Beautiful specimen, I remember seeing male individuals photographed. Decades ago I became very fond of studying and photographing insects, so I still remember a lot from that time... I think this is the first female specimen I have seen in photos outside of specialized pages... Excellent record and very good photos @paweland friend!

wow amazing
@paweland, I'm refunding 0.164 HIVE and 0.000 HBD, because there are no comments to reward.
they are beautiful, however, in spain and other latin cultures many people associate to see a black or very dark big butterfly with death, which is just superstition
