My favorite rebel cards and the usual strategies.

in Splinterlands6 hours ago

In the Rebellion first edition cards, there are several monsters that are very useful to use in our strategies, from summoners to battle cards. But this time I want to analyze the rebellion rewards card edition cards. The cards I will mention are vital in my teams and strategies with different elements; mainly we will talk about two elements, Water and Death.

Giant Alpine Skink and Commander Slade in the water element - Strategy and how to use them.

  • The first element I will talk about is the water element, although there are several cards that have enormous utility, I am surprised by the performance of Giant Alpine Skink, this direct attack card has a huge attack power, plus a shield of protection, it is also characterized by being fast. But one of its greatest strengths is its Shield ability, this allows it to reduce the damage to direct and ranged attacks by 50%, that is, it is not so affected or weakened by having the Shield ability.

My favorite combination is to use the summoner Possibilus the Wise, since it increases the life of Giant Alpine Skink and gives him the Trample ability, I also place Coastal Sentry in the back, so I generate double or triple attacks from the back area. In this way, we will have a team that quickly wears down the opponent, as we will have strong cards in front and others generating direct attacks from the second position. An advantage is that the mana consumption of Giant Alpine Skink is 8.

  • Another valuable alternative to be used with the same strategy is Commander Slade, I think it is increasingly common to see this card in the battles, but applying the same strategy with the undefeatable Possibilus the Wise and in the second position to Coastal Sentry, so we can place Commander Slade in the first position, the advantage of this card is that it has the ability Enfeeble, which directly reduces the power of direct attack of a card of the opponent.

In both strategies when using Giant Alpine Skink or Commander Slade it is good to use a healing card to restore their life, we could also use a card that regenerates their shield like: Swamp Spitter or Scavo Hireling. In this case I like to use Swamp Spitter, because it can generate attacks, but if you have low mana then Scavo Hireling can be a great option.

Dark Arborist and Arachne Weaver in the death element.

These two last two cards in the death element are magic cards that have low mana consumption and attack power within normal for low mana magic cards. But the best thing about Dark Arborist and Arachne Weaver are their abilities.

Firstly let's talk about Dark Arborist, he has the ability Demoralize, which allows reducing the direct attack of the opponent's cards. Now Arachne Weaver has a new and special ability, Corrupted Healing, it restores 70% of the life of your team's cards, but it also requires a sacrifice from the card.

Conclusion.

All these cards of the new edition for me are fantastic, as they have come to complement and make our strategies stronger. In the next week, I will continue to show you cards that I consider important in my strategies, mainly in the modern mode.
