Packs are currently sold out - new Chaos Legion packs are set to come out in September.
You technically can acquire packs on hive-engine - but that’s a bit more advanced - and you’re buying them direct from other people rather than from splinterlands (which isn’t a problem, it’s safe, they’re just more expensive than when you’re able to buy them direct from Splinterlands)
Placing a bid on peakmonsters (if that’s what you’re talking about) is like saying “I’d buy this card for this price if it became available” - when you do that, peakmonsters is able to automatically buy cards for you if they show up available at or below that price on the market.
Since that is done as a sort of auction, whoever has the highest bid gets the card, though they won’t necessarily pay their bid price - it could be lower.
Yes, but the cards aren’t technically on peakmonsters.
Peakmonsters is a front end tool to access the decentralized card market for splinterlands. Essentially, the same cards you see I. The Splinterlands market are what you see in peakmonsters.
Peakmonsters just gives you extra tools to acquire what you want easier, maybe cheaper, or in higher quantities.
Peakmonsters never transfers you the card in that sense... it’s more like they just directly buy it for you and it’s immediately owned by you.
You will need you Hive Keys from splinterlands to be able to use it. If you haven’t gotten those yet you can do so from the drop down menu I believe by your profile icon. IMPORTANT: make sure to read the information there before you dive into it. You’ll want to understand it.
Not exactly - on Hive, the "curation" part is really the upvotes (the hearts).
The basic way it works is that if you upvote something and it ends up getting a lot of upvotes, you get some sort of boost to rewards. And I think it makes a difference how early you upvote it (the earlier upvotes get more than the later ones I think).
Reblogging could technically help with that process, and it is technically a form of curation (based on the word), but it isn't directly part of the curation rewards in hive I believe.

So, it transfers cards pretty much automatic from peak monsters to the game?

Yeah I have all my hive info, pretty sure I bought a card from there this morning.
Btw - !LUV the questions :)
<><
@frost77, you've been given LUV from @iviaxpow3r.
Check the LUV in your H-E wallet. (1/1)
That was very sweet of you! Thank you so much!!!! Idk what I did to deserve that, but I can't thank you enough!
If I reblog posts, is that how I become a curator?

Alright cool, just thought I'd ask. Was curious and idk, it's something else ya know. This hive thing takes a bit to understand.
Absolutely, the "Hive.Blog" game is a beast to tackle in and of itself.
I think that https://hiveonboard.com/ explains it pretty well.
