SPLINTERLANDS FIRST REACTIONS AND SOME WIKI

in Splinterlands3 years ago

So, my last post got some reactions so I decided to do another one nut mainly focusing on Splinterlands. Why? It is pretty fun to play!

Let's start with what Splinterlands is:

Splinterlands is a collectible trading card game built on blockchain technology.
It is a lot like Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone where you build up a collection of cards and battle.

You can battle other players in matches and tournaments.

Each card is unique has different stats and abilities.

What makes Splinterlands different from other CCGs is that it's decentralized.

You, the player, own all the assets in the game.

By using blockchain technology, players can buy, sell, and trade their digital assets freely just as if they were physical cards, and all transactions are recorded on the HIVE Blockchain.

What are some features?

The game is actually paid :P But you only pay once and get a spellbook which in return allows you to participate in the game tournaments, daily quests and many more.

Pro tip: You can try the game if you want without paying it, you only need to sign-in.

Pro tip 2: You should definitely use a referral link if you are buying a spellbook.

Why?

1- If you used a referral link, you would see that there is a gift waiting for you. Open it and see what you got!

2- The user who referred you also receives a card and after that 5% of the lifetime purchases you make by using credits.

You can also purchase the spellbook with a lot of different crypto.

Within the game, you will see many different leauges starting from Bronze. The way to climb up ranks is to play ranked matches with other people.

                                                                              Game play

In every ranked game: you will have different rule sets: Simply, different game modes with various rules.

These are all the rule sets!!! Look how many :D

Aim True • Armored Up • Back To Basics • Broken Arrows • Close Range • Earthquake • Equaliser • Equal Opportunity • Even Stevens • Fog of War • Healed Out • Heavy Hitters • Keep Your Distance • Little League • Lost Legendaries • Lost Magic • Melee Mayhem • Noxious Fumes • Odd Ones Out • Reverse Speed • Rise of the Commons • Silenced Summoners • Stampede • Standard • Super Sneak • Taking Sides • Target Practice • Unprotected • Up Close and Personal • Weak Magic

In addition to Rule sets, the games all have a limit on how much mana you can use. Which starts from around 13 to 99 which indicates infinity.

The mana is used to summon your cards which all have their specific mana levels. All cards also have different Abilities, just like Hearthstone.

Here are some of them :D

Affliction • Blast • Blind • Cleanse • Close Range • Cripple • Demoralize • Dispel • Divine Shield • Dodge • Double Strike • Enrage • Flying • Halving • Headwinds • Heal • Immunity • Inspire • Knock Out • Last Stand • Life Leech • Magic Reflect • Opportunity • Oppress • Phase • Piercing • Poison • Protect • Reach • Redemption • Repair • Resurrect • Retaliate • Return Fire • Rust • Scavenger • Shatter • Shield • Silence • Slow • Snare • Sneak • Snipe • Strengthen • Stun • Swiftness • Tank Heal • Taunt • Thorns • Trample • Trige • True Strike • Void • Void Armor • Weaken

                                                                              BONUS

The main reason why I am writing this post is that this game still has players from the first time it launched who are super helpful and fun to talk to.

You have any questions? I mean ANY? even if it doesnt make sense, they would definitely help you with your query :D

They recruit you to their teams, do auctions on cards, have giveaway competitions and many more!

Just come and check it out and see for yourselves :https://discord.gg/GsnFbgQb

I am personally super glad to bump into Splinterlands and super exited to own many cards !!
