HILL GIANT
Hill Giants live in the Talus Bluffs on the outskirts of the volcano known as the Mountain of Ash. They are nomadic people that travel from hilltop to hilltop following herds of deer and cattle. Though they are intimidating, Hill Giants are typically more far more inquisitive of other cultures and seek to learn from them rather than attack. However, if they need to defend themselves, they attack by ripping boulders from the ground and are able to hurl them up to a mile. The people of Praetoria are glad to have them on their side against the Chaos Legion.

The best earth summoner to tandem with a low mana cost tank HILL GIANT with a bunch of magic damage attackers around him.
First Position: HILL GIANT
Reason for Picking:
The best tank for a low mana cost battle with 6 health. With a group of magic damage attackers behind him, the disadvantage of his 1 speed and 1 melee will not be a problem.
Second Position: FURIOUS CHICKEN
Reason for Picking:
A no damage rare neutral unit that provides another body to the team for zero mana cost. A very flexible unit that you can place anywhere after the mana cost limit is reached.
Third Position: KHMER PRINCESS
Reason for Picking:
A rare earth unit that is very useful for a low mana cost battle as it can fit anywhere for only 2 mana cost. Best position it in the middle as it only has 2 health risks on the battlefield.
Fourth Position: REGAL PERYTON
Reason for Picking:
Another rare earth unit, that provides flying ability plus 5 speed and 6 health, a very important unit for this group as it can be used as a second tank or will play a crucial role at the end of the battle.
Fifth Position: DJINN BILJKA
Reason for Picking:
A legendary earth unit, that has a camouflage ability for only 3 mana cost. This monster can be a difference maker in the end.

With only 1 damage unit for my opponent, this will be a fast kill once my team eliminated the tank and followed up with a victory.
ROUND 3
Reaction:
As predicted, my team of 5 units remains standing until the end as you can't really hurt my units with only 1 melee attacker on hand.
Battle Results Reaction:
Picking up a great summoner plus a bunch of flexible units around HILL GIANT make this battle very easy to WIN. With the ruleset of 17 mana cost battles are allowed, maximizing the units and positioning them in the right place make this battle a perfect kill to any opponent on the battlefield.

My lineup consists of 4 earth units and 1 neutral unit. 1 common, 3 rares, and 1 legendary.
Did your strategy work?
Yes, it works well. As my opponent only chose 1 damage attacker, this was a perfect battle for my team that have a group of magic damage dealers and a durable tank upfront.
What will you try differently next time?
I would try to stick with the same unit as long as the mana cost allowed is below 17. If it changes, definitely I will maximize all the possible options that I have.

Yes, I like HILL GIANT. It's a flexible and durable tank for low mana cost battle and provides to be a wall for your chosen units at any given time.
