Around a month ago I visited an exhibition called Emotions by the painter María Luchoro. I posted some photos from that exhibition in this post and I tried to bring them in the form of my impressions that those colours and shapes reflected on me. Artworks, if they are genuine, can cause reactions and emotions in us. This does not happen by chance. Of course, a lot depends on our ability and sensitivity to catch the message and that thin emotional thread without which art would not be art. But it also depends on the creator of the artwork and how she/he wants to present his thoughts, and her/his message to the audience. Some works capture us with their general message, or in their entirety. Others bring us details, small moments from which we build our impression. Details that contribute to the quality and content of the artwork. Sometimes we notice them, sometimes we don't, but they certainly mean a lot.
I think this can be seen in many other things that surround us. Let's take music as an example now. Without the details that a musician meticulously works on, what would be the value of what we hear? Of course, maybe you won't notice all those little things while you are at a concert, but you feel that you have been captivated by the power of music. It is also thanks to that that the composer or performer worked on details that, although they remain in the background, completely change the result.
The choir director with whom I usually practice and perform once said that music should never just "fill time in space", but that it has to trigger emotions, memories and reactions in the listener which will enrich the experience gained at that moment of listening to the performance of a musical piece. Today I have practised some details, and although I felt my day was completely unproductive I hope my efforts will make some difference tomorrow. That is why I remember this exhibition and the fact I mentioned to @avdesing in that post, that there were many details the paintings had. As you see, now I am bringing those that I skipped, with their details.
Atman

Plétora

Random details from other paintings. The first photo shows a detail from the painting Sunset, then the blue broken net is a detail from the painting called Tired. You could see them in my previous post from this exhibition. The treble clef and the music notes are also from the same painting, Tired.

The details that I liked the most could be seen in the painting of the lady with a hat. The one on the right side, Chic. There were dry flower petals and twigs, as well as dry leaves. These dead elements from nature found their place in this painting. Actually, they actively contributed to the attractiveness and liveliness of this artwork.

Her face spoke words... newspapers again, and dry petals on her hat. Definitely my favourite from today's selection. 😉

This! I consider a song good if I felt emotions in it and even bring back some memories. Like even with just the melodies, it has the power to make me tear up and feel sad. It's really cool when a music can do that much, that's when I appreciate more the composer, the producer and the people who arrange it as well as the performer. It's really just like a work of art. And although I rarely feel it in Art, but I appreciate them. Maybe because I don't know much about art that's why I rarely experience an emotions when it comes to arts.
Anyways these artworks are seriously so pretty. It's just anazing how can an an artist make it more detailed like the real thing. What I often feel whenever I see beautiful art was envy. Coz I wish I am skilled and talented just like these amazing artist out there.

Music indeed has this power, I guess probably most intense among the arts as we hear it, it brings vibrations from the air directly into our heart, if it matches our wavelengths.
I am glad you liked these paintings, and I understand you, I also admire those who can create something amazing, for sure talent is needed but also a lot of work to develop it into a skill. :))
Wowww I loved it!!! Thanks for mentioning me!!! You know I love the details and the art always reminds me of something. The dress looks amazing and what I liked the most and what brought back memories was the leaves in a painting, dried leaves.... too many memories of my student time... other times, uff how old I am hahaha Thanks!🤗
You are welcome, you asked for the details, I was not sure if they would come, but yesterday evening they somehow arrived at this place :D
Using the leaves is a nice technique, I suppose it is used many times. Old? Who is old? No one is old here in Hive!! 😂
There was a technique when I learnt painting that was to superimpose natural things like leaves and flowers on a painting or picture and it was beautiful!!!!
I've lived 1000 years... that's a long time.🤣
And multiply that by the number of lives cats have 😂😂
Madre mia!!! I need a break! And right now eat hahaha
I have a musician friend and have lived with one of them for years, so I have been able to witness much of the creative process. From the first chords to the release of the song or album, and I have also been a spectator to see how the details transform the songs. From the exhibition there is a painting that I really like, Atman. I also liked to see up close those textures that give volume and expressiveness to these paintings.
Thank you very much for this visit, and good night @mipiano.
You have lived with a musician for years, and then you know the whole process that is needed to compose or practise. My poor parents... and my husband haha, he has two musicians in the house, well, one is in his studies but when he comes... the violin is much louder than the piano 😂
Atman is cool, glad you also liked it. Good afternoon, @enraizar :)
I wish you a great evening, a hug.Well, @mipiano, the years I lived with my friend, almost a decade, was not so horrible. 😂
La belleza está en los detalles. Me gustó mucho esta expo y ahora, mirándola más de cerca, el gusto es mayor. Un abrazo 🤗
We had to get closer to the details, right? 😋
Thank you @mdrguez, these colours remind us... of... rock paintings, of course 😁
una pintura muy colorida y contemporánea...
gracias por compartir!!
And thank you for visiting these details with us ;)
Its really neat to see commin things turned into art. Resourcefulness through art that portrays a meaning is quite amazing. The dress was one of my favorites you showed :-)
Yeah, the dress was great. Today I spent my morning going from one shop to another as I needed to find a suitable garment for a concert... Maybe I should just crumple some newspapers and wear that kind of dress 😁
Oh you reminded me I need to go shopping need to pick up a few jeans and much needed new shoes.
Maybe use some old music note sheets 🎵 🎹 🎶 🤔
If unproductive days are like that, I'd like to see a productive one... anjá a hat is always wonderful, like being able to see details here and there. They speak to me a lot. 😎
Maybe there is no difference between unproductive and productive 😆
I know you liked this exhibition. There were more details I liked but I already posted them, like the hair made of wire, which was also really cool.
Yes I loved it and I thank you for bringing it to us like this, through your eyes and your artistic sensibility. What would this world be without art, right?
And what would be this world without strawberries, right? 🍓😆
😄 no lo puedo imaginar.
