You killed Solaire and also chose the dark era, mmmmmm you are evil.
Don't worry hahahaha even I chose the dark ending in one of my runs, I wouldn't know what to say because the game can directly or indirectly affect people, or even not even make any impact, I think I talk a lot about my perception of the metaphors of that game although there may be many more ideas about it, for me it wouldn't be so crazy that idea because the studio and the director of the game are from Japan and I wouldn't be surprised that one of their principles are those, since this is a country where depression and suicides are very common.
Maybe you were a bit depressed back then, and this can make you a bit selfish with others, so you chose the evil endings at that time, "Fuck the era of light and all those undead and hollows that attack me non-stop, I will give it its end and open the way to the era of darkness where I will be its king". The important thing is that you managed to overcome it, I think, excuse me if not, and just seeing you here commenting makes me happy.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing with me your appreciation for this game as I do.
Well I choose the dark side in every Star Wars game where it's an option so I guess I must be deranged in some way. But I promise I'm a good guy at heart.
Interesting theory you're mentioning with Japan and suicide/depression. Lothric (Dark Souls 3) was destined and expected to become the Lord of Cinder but refused and ran away. Maybe that's some sort of nod to expectations and legacy that is also heavy in Japan? Who knows. Just thought about it.
