2042 is alive and well 🙌
Hopefully, you are not like me and purchased Battlefield 2042 as soon as it launched back on October 6, 2021. I was pretty pissed about the fact that I paid $70 for a game that launched totally broken. This game wasn't just half-baked, it was still frozen solid. As time has gone on, the game not only thawed out but seems to be fully ready to be consumed. In other words, there is no better time than now to start playing BF2042.
The game can be had for cheap and is you are a PS Plus subscriber, it should already be in your library if you are good about claiming all of your free monthly games.
Now to the meat of this post, the latest Season 6 update and the new multiplayer map called Redacted. This new map is infantry-only, which is my personal preference for this game. It's not that I don't like using the vehicles, but I just get annoyed with how damn good some people are with them. It's nice to have the option to play modes that only involve boots-on-the-ground gunplay.
Redacted is also the first Battlefield map ever to be 100% indoors. This may be a surprise, but I checked to make sure and it is true. After seeing the gameplay, you might think I'm incorrect. There are portions of this map that have foliage and seem to be outdoors. The thing is, Redacted is set under a dome of sorts, so it's actually all indoors.
Speaking more of the map, it is crazy and chaotic. If you don't like constant explosions and lots of death, this may not be the map for you. If you enjoy racking up loads of kills and camping chokepoints, then you may be in heaven. Although I have my good and bad matches on Redacted, overall I really like how it plays. It also happens to look quite nice too.
Let's get into the gameplay portion of this post where I manage to get 43 kills in a match of Breakthrough.

Glad to see they fixed all the issues with this game. I played it when it first came out and couldn’t believe how half-finished and unplayable it was and haven’t touched it since. Might be time to give it another look.
It’d be a solid argument as to whether Battlefield 2042 or Cyberpunk 2077 launched in worse conditions. Now both are great experiences finally.
I just want to have enough time to play games and I think those who played games, on this platform you can show Your skills.

After watching the trailer of the game, the game looks very interesting and its graphics are also very amazing, if the sound and graphics are good, then the game is more fun to play.
This is an awesome addition. ❤ This map looks so much more detailed with a variety of new assets. Looks really good compared to the other maps.
