It didn't take long for me to play this game again and there are many reasons behind this decision. Besides that I genuinely think it's an entertaining game
Hollow Knight may be slow, it may not explain much about what you have to do, but it does have something that I think is very important for me as a player to keep playing it, and that is the essence of each of its components as video games
You want the controls to feel good, because you have it. You want the game to develop in a mysterious environment but at the same time full of life, because you have it, and so many other things that at first were not seen but that with the passage of exploration I discover and in turn I get excited more
I'm not complaining too much because that's what the game is about, they don't give you any clues and the truth is that it barely tries to tell us where we have to go to advance with the main objective of the adventure
Something I've learned This one you definitely need a map in this game at least if you don't want to go blindly around there, the map gives you the possibility to draw what you see as well as mark the points of interest and other extra points or that we can mark if we buy the corresponding stamps in the store surface
Having the map does not guarantee that you will get to where you want to go. But it does give you a sense of control over where you are going and, above all, knowing what you have already explored is very important to avoid getting lost and to last twice as long to discover the beauty of this title
It is best to take this game calmly, it is difficult to learn the controls and master them in the first hours so we will be dying every time we encounter an enemy, when we do we leave a kind of trail that we will encounter again if we pass through it path
This stele has all the coins we had when we were killed, when we fight against it and win, the coins are returned to us, it is a system that I find entertaining because it only penalizes us temporarily
Although we can take another path and continue exploring, I always go back to the point where my trail is and grab the coins because they are too important to pass up, with them we can buy everything that makes it easier for us to explore the many routes that there are on the way, so we will always want to have more
Maps are bought with this currency that we can get by killing creatures in caves as well as in hidden corners, there are several loots that we can get and understanding that coins are important leads us to explore more thoroughly through each passage we pass.
and we will be passing through the same place several times, at least until we find the one who sells the maps, it is not necessarily tedious to go through this because the game has enough places to choose from and each new route is a discovery.
In this second stage of the adventure there are even more secrets than in the first, now that we have a new ability to shoot our aura we will have to be more attentive to use it at the right moments
And this route along the small green path took me to the fight with the boss that I still haven't solved, quite fast and it doesn't let me heal at any time, it has attacks that although they are easy to anticipate, it's not easy to dodge at all,
that's why I said above that we will get used to dying even with the simplest enemies in the area
I won't entertain you any more for now, there is a lot of beauty in Hollow Knight especially if you You play in your free time where you are truly free to stick to the screen for at least 3 hours
You never know where you will end up or if you will discover something surprising at your next door, so it is exploration in its purest form

This is one of those games that I appreciate how good it is but I haven't played and probably never will. Because having to advance a section and then having to go back to the beginning because now you have an ability that opens another path, is not a mechanic that I love haha.
Without a doubt, an incredible title, and with the DLC, the difficulty rises to an incredible level. Learning the controls was also something that cost me a lot at the beginning. I remember that when I reached an area where I had to advance while bouncing off an enemy and hitting with the stinger, I ended up dying dozens of times and got really stressed out, haha.
I didn't know it had a DLC but I'll play it when I finish this game
Greenpath is such a nice section of HK, so full of life and energy (unlike some other places which you will encounter later).
That's what I was thinking, and the final boss is a nice touch, I have a feeling I'll see it later
