Celebrating Malaysia Day!!!

With chicken... Chicken... And chicken... lol

In conjunction with our Malaysia's Day, there was promotion on KFC and McDonald's fried chicken set. I was reluctant to try both but husband said let's try both on different days. Bless our throats.

At McDonald's

On the exact day itself, our country's Malaysia Day which fell on 16th September and a public holiday of cours, we went to McDonald's after badminton with relatives and friends.

The chicken at McDonald's which usually is sold at RM32 for 5 pieces now was at RM16 with any McValue's set purchased.

Husband grabbed two sets of it, and brother-in-law also grabbed two sets. And gosh, so many fried chicken on our tables.

The children really had so much fun playing badminton together, then eating, followed by playing Uno together. So many funny discussions, jokes and chats going on when the children gathered. Lol...

The chicken was too spicy for me, so I went and buy a cone ice cream wuth choco dip. Ahhh...felt better.

At KFC

The day before 16th, on the 15th, my family actually also had eaten fried chicken at KFC for dinner. For KFC, the Malaysia Day promotion was RM25 for 6 pieces of chicken with no other terms and condition. Husbands also bought two sets, one set of spicy chicken and one set was original chicken.

Wow, we all really loved the fried chicken at KFC, full of aromatics spices and fragrance. Big juicy chickens, and crunchy on the outside, perfectly fried.

After eating, we sat awhile to play mobile games together.

Chicken Rice

As for lunch on 15th, after church, we went to Bing's Rotisserie which is famous for its roasted chicken, roasted pork belly and barbeque pork.

One of our friends came to visit and decided to give us a treat. After we ordered our choices of food; some ordered Wantan noodle with chicken and roasted pork; as for me, I ordered roasted pork belly and bbq pork with rice, our friend add on braised tofu and egg, fish ball soup for us. And a barley drink for everyone. Such kind and generous gestures from her.

All the food here was super delicious. I will be coming back for the Wantan noodles which was highly praised by those who ate it that day.

After having eaten three meals consecutively on chicken, I suddenly did not feel like eating chicken anymore. Haha. And was actually craving for beef, mutton and fish for the next day. So yup, that was how we celebrate our onset of school holiday as well as public holiday on Malaysia Day, chicken for the win!
