We know that we like going to the food store because we want to try and taste new kinds of foods in our town. I've written a blog about this store before on how good their store and food is and I will share another new food experience that we've tried together in our family, although not all the experience that we gain here were positive but there were some negative that I will share about this food store.
The name of this food store is Coftea and base on the name of the food store, their first product was drinks like coffee and tea. They expanded and put another menu's every now and then and with each menu that they've put, many people loves to go here and try their newest food menu that they serve.
One of the new food menu that they serve now is the Unlimited Rice sizzling meals and it clicked that many people loves on going here and eating their sizzling food menu because they have an unlimited rice and it's like we are eating in one of the fast food chain here in the Philippines which also offers unlimited rice on their rice meals.
We went to this place after we bought groceries for our daughter and during that time, it was almost lunch time that we were also hungry. We decided on going here since the place on where we bought groceries is near to this place (that is Coftea).
We went there together and we only walk on going there. After we arrived, I asked my wife on what food does she wants to order and she asked me about the menu and I gave it to her which is the sizzling meals menu.
My wife ordered the sizzling gambas while I chose the crispy belly. This is our first time ordering this menu because last time that I remembered, it was pork belly and pepper beef.
We waited for a couple of minutes and we picked our orders in front of the cashier because this is a self service food store. While we were eating, we didn't knew that we didn't order some drinks.
The only thing that we paid were our sizzling meals because on cash and we are on short of case because our money are still on my E-wallet and when I ask if they will accept E-wallet as payment, they said that it isn't available and we don't have any drinks nor water that they offer from this store.
We were worried at time because we needed to drink something before we can eat our meals and that is really paired with some drinks but when we asked if they have tap water, they casually said that they don't offer tap water and the water that are available is only to buy it.
We were frustrated that they didn't give any water like a tap water and our daughter is really thirsty. My wife and our daughter even went to the cashier to ask for some water but they failed. What I did is to go to the nearest store that sells drinks and accepts E-wallets and thankfully, there is one and I'm happy since it's only a few meters away from the store that we ate.
I bought some drinks for us and I didn't bother if they will ask us to charge from bringing some food items in their store since they didn't accept E-wallet, I will just say that to them if they ask but luckily, they didn't and we just proceed on eating and drinking and we continue on our lunch and we finished our lunch meal.
We were disappointed from this store because most of the stores that I went to offered tap water and this kind of store doesn't offer any drinks. Instead, you will buy for it for you to drink it and they don't have any E-wallet payments nor cards or maybe the owner is not there at the time that we went there but still not a good experience that we went here.
