The rural scenery, the cows, the birds flying and the early morning light are things which when put together provide an enchanting sight for anyone who ventures out for a long ride on the nearby roads that lead away from the village and through the farmland and cattle ranches along the valley... So it is in those places that I am often fortunate enough to be able to take photographs while breathing fresh air and clearing my mind... I invite you to continue on in this publication and enjoy my monochromatic vision of all this...
El paisaje rural, las vacas, las aves volando y la luz de las mañanas son cosas las cuales cuando se juntan proporcionan una visión encantadora para cualquiera que se aventure a un largo paseo por las carreteras cercanas que se alejan del pueblo y atraviesan las tierras de siembra y ganadería a lo largo del valle... Entonces es en esos lugares en donde con frecuencia tengo la suerte de poder hacer fotografías al mismo tiempo que respiro aire fresco y despejo mi mente... Los invito a continuar adelante en esta publicación y disfrutar de mi visión monocromática de todo esto...
I recognize that taking these photos is not always easy. I can be having a very good time surrounded by nice landscapes and all the bucolic that this environment can be. But the light is always complex here, for this reason whenever I take photos like these I am forced to keep thinking about their further processing. This is somewhat challenging and I have to be especially meticulous with the exposure. I like my monochrome photographs to have everything from the purest white to the densest black, so I tend to go to extremes of overexposure when it comes to dealing with the backlighting typical of the early hours of a sunny morning. This is something you will see recurrently in many of these photographs, especially when I point my camera lens to the East and all that light can serve to ruin an image, but also to make it more charming and visually relevant.
Reconozco que hacer estas fotos no siempre es fácil. Puedo estar pasando un muy buen rato rodeado de paisajes agradables y todo lo bucólico que este entorno puede ser. Pero la luz es siempre compleja aquí, por esta razón siempre que hago fotos como estas me veo obligado a mantenerme pensando en su posterior procesado. Esto es algo desafiante y tengo que ser especialmente minucioso con la exposición. Me gusta que mis fotografías monocromáticas tengan desde el blanco más puro hasta el negro más denso, así que suelo extremar la sobre-exposición cuando se trata de enfrentarme a los contraluces típicos de las primeras horas de una mañana soleada. Esto es algo que verán recurrentemente en muchas de estas fotografías, especialmente cuando apunto haca el Este el lente de mi cámara y toda esa luz puede servir para arruinar una imagen, pero también para hacerla más encantadora y visualmente relevante.

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.
