Today Monday I join the challenge with this mermaid.
They say it is a voice that alienates you by causing ships to sink.
It can be mythical or just the crazy mind of a sailor when scurvy attacked him.
But the truth is that it is a legend that has survived to this day and we all know mermaids and have even seen it in a dream.
This beautiful being has a lot of history, but this time real.
Its owner was Juan de la Cosa and it was the largest ship that Christopher Columbus crewed in search of the new world and she was in the bow looking at the sea receiving the fierce waves of the oceans and the sailors believed that blowing the conch shell the beautiful mermaid calmed the sea.
Today she calms us down and if you close your eyes you hear the sound of the sea as it does if you hear a conch shell.
We see her with her body as her woman, her long hair blowing in the wind, her face perfectly drawn against the sky, her skin covered with small scales and her tail that perhaps in other times were delicate feet.
The sailors still pronounce his name with respect and there are some who still pray to that great god when the sea is angry.
Surely the mermaid is a courtesan of the god, she is always willing to please him to sing with her beautiful voice, to attract humans to the bottom of the sea so that Neptune can mock us.
But today she is just a mermaid turned into stone for eternity.
