Introduction
Axie class affects one's playstyle and discovering how to deal 15% more damage will give you an advantage. In Axie Infinity, each class has its own set of strengths and weaknesses. It is also the class that determines an Axie's base stats and affinities.
What are the different classes?
The nine classes in Axie Infinity are:
Reptile
Plant
Dusk
Aquatic
Bird
Dawn
Beast
Bug
Mech
Class advantages
Axies have a distinct advantage over their counterparts in other classes. Three groups of classes in Axie Infinity have a rock-paper-scissors relationship:
- Reptile, Plant, and Dusk good against Aquatic, Bird, and Dawn
- Aquatic, Bird, and Dawn good against Beast, Bug, and Mech
- Beast, Bug, good against Mech trump Reptile, Plant, and Dusk
This triangle representation would help you figure out which classes do best against which kind of Axie. Having a class advantage over another Axie allows your Axie to deliver more damage. When you attack with a class advantage, you will deal 15% more damage. When you attack with a class disadvantage, you will deal 15% less damage.
