El fútbol es un método único y efectivo para generar amistades. Unirse a un grupo nuevo siempre es un reto personal. Podemos cuestionarnos si nos adaptaremos a dicho grupo, si seremos aceptados o cuánto tiempo nos tomará calar.
Soccer is a unique and effective method of generating friendships. Joining a new group is always a personal challenge. We can ask ourselves if we will adapt to that group, if we will be accepted or how long it will take us to fit.
Como entrenador y guía, siempre tomo en consideración la parte socio afectivo de cada atleta. Ya que esta es importante tanto para el desarrollo deportivo como el humano. Ambos aspectos van tomados de la mano. En vista de que el fútbol es un deporte de equipo, es necesario que cada atleta se sienta a gusto. De esta manera, psicológicamente se sentirá cómodo para dar su máximo potencial, tanto para la mejora individual como grupal.
As a coach and guide, I always take into consideration the socio-affective part of each athlete. Since this is important for both sports and human development. Both aspects go hand in hand. Since soccer is a team sport, it is necessary for each athlete to feel comfortable. In this way, psychologically you will feel comfortable to give your maximum potential, both for individual and group improvement.
De igual manera, el fútbol, al ser un deporte comunicativo genera naturalmente la interacción entre los participantes. Así, el jugador que sea extrovertido podrá desenvolverse a gusto y el introvertido podrá encontrar poco a popo la fuerza para derribar esa barrera que le cohíbe de expresarse.
In the same way, soccer, as a communicative sport, generates interaction between the participants naturally. Thus, the player who is an extrovert will be able to function at ease and the introvert will be able to find little by little the strength to break down that barrier that prevents him from expressing himself.
Como mencione anteriormente, me centro mucho en la parte humana del atleta. Ya que mi objetivo no es solamente formar futbolista, si no seres que sepan devolverse en cualquier ámbito que les depare el futuro. Es decir, generar en ellos la confianza y amor propio.
As I mentioned earlier, I focus a lot on the human part of the athlete. Since my goal is not only to train a footballer, but human beings who know how to performance in whatever field the future holds for them. That is, to generate in them confidence and self-love.
Una de las actividades que me gusta realizar es la de asignar un director en alguna actividad grupal (como la de la siguiente foto). Suelo variar al director, pero generalmente selecciono a aquellos que son tímidos y de poco hablar. Aunque al inicio suele ser un gran reto para ellos, con mi apoyo, suelen dirigir las actividades poco a poco, hasta que son capaces de hacerlo sin ayuda. Además, logran la confianza suficiente para interactuar con sus compañeros sin temor alguno.
One of the activities that I like to do is to assign a director in some group activity (like the one in the following photo). I usually vary the director, but generally I select those who are shy and little talk. Although at the beginning it is usually a great challenge for them, with my support, they tend to direct the activities little by little, until they are able to do it without help. In addition, they gain enough confidence to interact with their mates without fear.
Este tipo de trabajos muchas veces pasa por debajo y nadie lo nota. Aun así, es una gran satisfacción ver el resultado de tales acciones. Ver bromear a un niño o adolescente con sus compañeros, cuando al inicio ni siquiera se atrevían a saludar, es uno de los mejores trofeos que puedes recibir como entrenador. Sabes que esa confianza la reflejara el día de juego y que esas amistades serán para toda la vida.
This type of work often goes under and nobody notices. Even so, it is a great satisfaction to see the result of such actions. Seeing a child or adolescent joke with their mates, when at first they did not even dare to say hello, is one of the best trophies you can receive as a coach. You know that trust will be reflected on game day and that those friendships will last a lifetime.
