Greetings
Hello friends of the great community of hive and Splinterlands, I hope you are having a great week, today I bring you a great battle in the wonderful world of Splinterlands, I come with great desire to share with you this battle where the splinter of death returns to make clear its powerful power, I hope you like this battle as much as me and you can enjoy it, let's start!
Battle
In this battle I am using death splinter and my opponent uses earth splinter, my opponent's monsters have high life points although something curious I saw is that the monster in the front row of my opponent is a statistically weak card, it has no attack or any ability, my intuition tells me that my opponent placed it as a distraction but still makes it clear that my opponent has little defense, the fact of not placing a good tank says a lot on the battlefield.
The battle begins and my summoner reduces the magic attack damage of the enemy monsters and also takes away a point of life, however the magic attack taken away from his monsters is countered by the enemy summoner which increases his monsters a point of magic attack, the truth is that it is a good move and a good battle between summoners.
In the first round I manage to kill two enemy monsters thanks to the good skills of my monsters, the battle is very fast, my tank takes full advantage of his ability and reduces the magic attack of the enemy monsters this makes it almost indestructible, the battle lasts until round 4 where I finally managed to give the last blow, my opponent failed to do me almost damage and all my monsters were left standing, so I am champion of a fast and perfect battle by my monsters and their skills.
Standards
In this battle we have 19 mana points to spend, the truth is that it is a low number so I must manage well my movements and moves within the battlefield in order to generate a good game that will lead me to victory.
The standard rules of the game do not have any modification so any type of splinter and card in the battle is valid.
Cards used
Let's see what are the skills and stats of my monsters:
Thadeous Hood: for this battle I used Thadeous as a summoner, a very scary looking monster which takes away one point of magic attack and one point of life from the enemy monsters, his skills are always fundamental within the battle hood as it leaves you with an advantage in attack and life points.
Bone Golem: this powerful monster is a golem with the ability to reduce the damage of magical attacks, this was fundamental in the battle, besides that it has two points of armor, 6 life points, one point of speed and 3 points of melee attack.
Maggots: these worm-like monsters have the ability Opportunity which allows them to attack from any position to the enemy monster with less health points, statistically they have one health point, one speed point and one melee attack point.
Undead Badger: now we find a cat of the underworld, this fearsome feline has the ability to attack the last enemy monster ignoring the first monster has a single point of life and a single point of melee attack, however it is a fast monster because it has 3 points of speed.
Death Elemental: this monster with a long hood and big claws has 2 health points, 3 speed points and one magic attack point, besides that it has an ability that allows it to attack enemy monsters with ranged attack, magic attack or no attack that is not in the first position.
Strategy
Observing my opponent I could notice that his attacks are based on magic attacks, he has no gold type of attack, this type of attack is good because it directly damages the health of the attacked monster, however if you only use one type of attack in a battle it can be a double-edged sword because you can find monsters that reduce the type of attacks you are using, as in this case, my strategy was to make the most of the ability of my tank Bone Golem, this monster reduces the magic attack so my opponent was always at a disadvantage in terms of attack.
My summoner made a good move because the enemy summoner wanted to increase the magic attack of his monsters but my summoner countered this increase by removing one point of magic attack from the enemy monsters, So most of the enemy monsters only had one magic attack point which is a harmless attack for my tank due to its ability, I took advantage of Maggots and Undead Badger's ability to annihilate the only enemy monster that had 2 magic attack points helping my tank to receive less damage.
My strategy worked perfectly and I was able to win the battle in a simple way, I want to add that the failure of my opponent is to concentrate all his attack in magic attacks that as I mentioned before can be a bad move if you encounter monsters that reduce that attack, so my recommendation is to have monsters with a variety of attack, this way you can have several attack options within the battle cap.
Used chips
In this battle I used the death splinter, the truth is that I have been using it for a long time and I think it is a very powerful splinter, its strong point is that the monsters of this type of splinter have very powerful skills that are very well exploited within the playing field, comparing it with the splinter of my rival, which is the earth splinter, I must say that they are splinters of almost the same power because the monsters of earth splinter also have good skills and their statistics are good just like the death splinter.
However I think the difference between these splinters is that the earth type splinter is a little weak in defense instead the death splinter has skills that help a lot defensively, although I must say that the earth splinter has more attack than the death splinter, but as I mentioned before the death splinter compensates its low stats with powerful skills so its monsters are always useful in the battlefield.
What would you try differently?
Really my strategy worked perfectly, however we must always take into account any kind of error even if the probability of it happening is very low, in this case although my tank was almost indestructible if the case where my tank was destroyed the next monster to occupy this position would be Maggots which has very few life points, because of this I think it would not be bad the idea of putting Death Elemental in second position which has one more point of life.
See You
This has been all for this publication friends of this beautiful community of hive, the truth I really wanted to show you this battle I hope you liked it, thank you very much to all this community that has given me your support that motivates me a lot to continue bringing you content of this great game Splinterlands, I hope you continue having a good day, see you soon.
