HOW TO OVERCOME FEELING UNWORTHY

"I am not valuable", "I'm not worth a thing", "who could want someone like me?", this are all questions most people get faced with on a daily basis, this feeling and thoughts are mostly triggered by happenings around us, even by something as little as putting a tiny dot into your shirt, this could make you feel not worthy for even the smallest of tasks.

Today I will be sharing what I think is the Cause and Ways which could help in dealing with this unworthy feelings, cause I've also battled with this feelings, though I'm not yet out of the woods but I think this would help you also a lot.

**GREATEST ENEMY OF OUR MENTAL HEALTH **

As I've mentioned earlier such feeling could be triggered by different reasons which I might not be able to mention all, but through my personal experiences and studies I've come to this conclusion: no matter what triggers this feelings, it all boils back to Comparism.

Comparism is one of our natural instincts as human: I mean it comes to us naturally, this is the act of putting ourselves on a scale we've made in our mind and scaling against a imaginative figure/avatar of a person we know or who we think we know.

Though Comparism has it's positive side which is actually to drive us to do more and achieve more compared to another person.

As any other gift could be abused so often do we also abused this gift of Comparism, we do this by letting this results we think the other person have get into our heads, and instead of trying to improve ourselves, we turn out condemning ourselves.

One thing we often fail to notice is the fact that: The people you compare yourself to, also compare themselve to others. We seem to think every other person out there has their whole life sorted and straightened out, but this a wrong perception because as much as everyone hopes to have their whole lives sort out this is a far truth from reality, we all struggle with our differences and flaws, nobody is perfect.

This I think is the greatest cure to the feeling of unworthiness: the realization of the fact that everyone's not as perfect as you think, everyone has there own weaknesses and flaw and we all work toward perfection but none is perfect.

Remember

  • The people you compare yourself to, compare themselves to others, which tells you everyone wishes to be a better person, so this doesn't make you different, it only makes you human.

  • Noone is perfect, just focus on progress

  • Imagining things will only make you harder on yourself and make you feel unworthy, always walk towards improving yourself not comparing yourself to others.

  • And lastly remember, you are as valuable as the other person.
