The one who nurtures is greater than the one who gives birth

in Hive Learnerslast month

Hello to all hive users 🙏❤️😊
Hope you all are healthy and doing great in your life🙂

You have been adopted. If you have younger or elder siblings, they must have said this to you at some time or the other and it often happens that these things are very common among siblings because all this is done to tease each other. Some people are born in this world but the people who are supposed to raise them sometimes go away from them and then what happens is that either they find someone else to raise them or they go to an orphanage. When a child is very young, about a few months old, he does not understand himself and others that much, so in such a situation, a relative or any person adopts the children but this thing is not told to the children even till they grow up. Then sometimes when suddenly the children grow up and come to know that they are adopted, then it will really be quite shocking for them. We often see similar scenes in movies in which a person comes to know much later that he is adopted, then he starts behaving in a different way. Although this is about movies, in real life, different people have different reactions to this thing.

If I ever come to know that I am adopted, then first of all I will be shocked because this will be something that will be really shocking for me because anyone can be shocked by such news. This thing can shock me for a few days but it will not happen with me that after that day I change the purpose of my life or go away from my home because many people do this. I believe that the person who gives birth to you is many times bigger than the person who nurtures you and takes care of you because whatever I am today is because of them. He is everything for me because he is fulfilling my needs and giving me whatever he knows best. The relationships are made of love and respect. If a person is yours but does not consider you his own and his behavior is also very bad towards you, then an outsider who respects you and supports you in every happiness and sorrow is better than such a person.

However, this thing will not have any effect on my future life because the people with whom I have been living for so long and if they know about this thing, then I don't think that they will discriminate against me in the future because those who have never discriminated against me till date will not do so in the future as well. If the person who has been giving you shelter for so long and has been with you in every happiness and sorrow has no problem then why should I have any problem and the meaning of this thing will not change for me.

I also know that their biological children will not discriminate against me because we have been living together for so many years and a good bonding develops in these years and I don't think this will make any difference to them. Although it is possible that they may now tease me more by saying that you are adopted but all this will be a joke.

There is no point in apologizing because he has not made any mistake. If he had to tell me this, he would have told me earlier and kept things clear from the beginning. The reason for him not telling me would be that he did not want me to know this and I would feel like an outsider.
However, I would definitely like to know why my biological parents would have done this because I would definitely want to know the reason behind this, what was the compulsion that they had to give me up for adoption. No parent gives their child up for adoption just like that, there is definitely some solid reason behind it and I will definitely tell Karan about it.

Thanks for Reading till the end

I agree with you, not just about giving but rather nurturing. We have seen children living with their biological parents yet feel abandoned and neglected.
Those who adopt must have a reason and those who abandon must have a solid reason too.

Exactly it doesn't matter who gives you birth but the one who is taking care of you is great.

👍👍

Exactly my thoughts.
I will just acknowledge them and still go back to the ones that nurtured me, giving great value and respect to them.

The one who nutures you deserve more respect then the one who gives birth to you.
