Will change the history if I can go back in time.

Sometimes I just don't like to listen to the history, especially the slavery part in my country. There was a time I tried as much as possible to listen to everything that happened in my country about the slavery. It was so saddening how we have all been treated. I saw the place where Nigerians are being kept, more than a hundred slaves in a room that doesn't contain 10 people and has no ventilation.
I've seen how we are being treated, so horrible and so bad. The chain that was used to chain their legs and hands is too heavy for what five people can even carry. Too many people die and so on.

Well, as if that wasn't even. We all think maybe it is because we are yet to gain independence that is why we are being treated the way we are treated, but then it was so obvious that we are also the problem of ourselves. Nigerians are too greedy, not too smart, and use our own hands to do it ourselves.

I was telling a friend that it is rare if this country can ever be regulated or even be good again. It was those in the past that had seen the goodness of this country, and it was also them that spoiled this country to where it is today.
Why do I say that the leaders are so greedy? There is nothing like unity among the Nigerians; in fact, sometimes I just wish the country should be ruled by the military. Because our government has spoiled the country beyond the immigrations.

All ethnic groups want to be the leader, and the one leading doesn't want to leave the post for another person to lead. It is well known that anywhere that does not have what is called unity will later lead to disasters.

At some point they try to separate this country; that was when I knew we were done in this country. Honestly, what exactly do you think are the causes of the Biafra War from 1967-1970? This war was an unforgotten war, and this causes a lot of havoc. There are too many losses of lives; imagine a war that lasted for three good years. This is a bad experience of war that I never pray for. Good people have died, people with good ambition and so on; this disaster left my country in pain forever, because honestly, have things ever been the same way since the day we announced the end of the war? What about the soul and the disasters that were lost? Of course it's unforgettable. Till today, things have not been the same even though it's been so many years back.

Let's talk about Boko Haram. Which started destroying everywhere in the name of religion, well only someone that doesn't know how politics work will say that it's true religion; it was a brutal disaster when they started in 2003. The life that was lost then is something we can't forget; for years they operated, also remembering those that went to churches and killed all the members there.

In summary, if I ever have the chance to go back in time, I will make sure I try my best to bring unity to the government. Well, I do not know how I'm going to do that, but I'm sure if there is unity and everyone has the right to everything, with no greedy people in the government sector, then I'm pretty sure that this country will be somewhere every person will want to visit, unlike now that we barely even survive.

Lack of unity is what causes what Nigeria is facing today. I read about the Biafran war too and the cause was disunity. It affected lots of people and claimed many lives. If only there has been unity right from time, but who wants to bow for another? They are all arrogant and not smart if I must say.

The greediness is too much, honestly we only need God to intervene.

more than a hundred slaves in a "room" that doesn't contain 10 people and has no ventilation.

They put them in rooms is sugarcoat, it started with cages for a long time, they even tie them to trees outside and let some of them die in the process. They even use some of them for sport and target practice.

For a country that consist of multi ethnic groups with selfish leaders, to achieve unity even if you travel back in time it would be difficult because the issue didn't start at once it compounded over time and moreover some of the hatred we have for each other was planted by our colonial matters to ensure divide and rule making it easy for them to put us under control.
