One funny adage in my language says no food for lazy man in other words you have to work for a living.
Wether you work under someone, or perhaps you are the boss of your own, an entrepreneur.
Work is a very vital part of an adult life, it is that responsibility we must take in order to live a good life, that is food, clothing or shelter, move around and every other necessary aspects of life.
For me as an Entrepreneur and hustler I really believe in being your own boss. Although this takes a process of working under some one, gain enough work experience and skills, then you can plan your business.
I remember many years ago, my first work, was at the café, I just finished secondary school then, and I was so desperate to start something productive, being a very determined young hustler, I moved from streets to streets looking for jobs, I even went very far from my locality which was not also forthcoming, I eventually saw a cafe around some miles from home, I applied and luckily for me then, I was employed, the routine is quite the same: all I do is go to office, sweep the floor, clean the computers, type and attend to all the customers, it was quite an hectic work, the pay was #5000 (five thousand naira only). Although the payment looks small but then it was sure a very big amount of money.
Also during the time I started teaching, I taught the nursery 1 and two, it was a very stressful and unbelievably exhausting work to do considering the fact that I was handling an outrageous number of students which was a very stressful and energy draining Job.
Flexibility at work is a very important process of your work night. It simply means the process of balancing work responsibilities with personal and family while also having control of your schedule, plans and other work.
For me I believe that whenever you are working under someone or your boss in an organisation. You might have a kind of rigid work routine, where you do the same thing over and over again, I might be very wrong about this though, but all through my work under people, I never really have that freedom to do other things, and that was just how it is. Many people have told me, they are able to balance up, working under people, whole doing their personal stuffs and also doing some other job.
The True Flexibility comes when you are Your own boss, here is why I said so, owning your own business and controlling what you want will give you the true freedom without any restraints, I have really enjoyed that form of flexibility in the past 3 years, ever since I started as a business owner, I really have other things to do, spending more time with friends and family, having time for other activities without having to worry about any boss.
