**Some tips when moving to Australia for studies **
If you are staying in a hostel like me, you are required to provide your own pillow, linens, towels, cloth hangers, cups, plates & bowls. When I first came to Australia, I bought them from Kmart and Target. THEN I have discovered that most of these items are cheaper in IKEA. You can pre-order these items and get them to be delivered to your hostel. They will be delivered within 2-3 working days. BTW, Uber is not cheap here.
Amazon Australia is amazing. I bought travel adaptors and they came on the next day.
One can easily buy affordable SIM cards from Coles and Woolworth. For example, you can get 30GB for $10 when there is an offer. 📱 📲 ☎️
Do bring an electrical multi-cooker, which allows you to cook in a variety of ways. I don't think you can get a decent one in Australia at a 'good price'.However, Kmart does sell a rice cooker at $12.
Eating out is really expensive. A plate of fried rice can easily cost $16 to $35 dollar. However, they do have a variety of cuisines such as Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese, Mexican, Chinese, Korean, Australian, Indian etc.
You can get Asian groceries in Asian supermarkets. I got my mala craving fixed. 😀
The haircut is not cheap here. You should factor this cost in your budget. 💇♂️ 💇♀️
Make sure there is no gaps between the asterisk and the last letter if you want to bold it.
