Fixing the house joyfully

in We Are Alive Tribe2 years ago

As always it is a pleasure to be able to post on this amazing platform.

My house (construction) is one of the things that has kept me busy in recent months and it is a long history, years of investment (when it could be invested) and work that is about to finish.

The result is a large and beautiful house full of details that today it is difficult for anyone to have the resources to build, however my wife and I abandoned the pleasure of luxurious trips or other things for the sacrifice of investing in it, Thus, as of today, there are only a few details left to finish it, which makes us very excited.

Due to lack of resources for labor, I have had to be the worker who is in charge of these last details and although it takes me time and I am not a specialist in the matter, I enjoy doing it, so today I want to share with you how my experience was giving the final touches to the facade...

In the house, we have covered some walls with flagstones (stones), clapboards and others only with trim, we have been doing the final touches from the inside out, so I have glued the clapboard skirting in the living room and bedrooms, painted rooms and everything that is on the inside but at the entrance of the house things are just as the masons left them long ago.

One of the things that can be seen quickly is that it needs some paint, so I was preparing to paint the corresponding part but when I wanted to do it, I noticed that the masons did not finish the upper part of the tablets, they were missing the " bevels" to give you a better view.

Before applying paint, the first thing I did was prepare a little mixture with cement and then with the help of a "mason's trowel" place it on the edge giving it the desired shape, as it is a small space, a line of approximately two and a half meters It took me a short time to finish it.

When all the work in gray was finished I finally proceeded with the paint application, I'm sure someone will be able to notice the change in the following image.

And thus one more detail to the house is completed, there are fewer that are missing so I hope to start inhabiting it soon, I would like to appear more in the photographs while I carry out the work but generally I have the hands of mixture or paint and in those conditions I do not like to manipulate the phone.
