The Art Journal is a visual diary or a creative journal in which we can experiment with different techniques to express feelings, emotions and creativity. We can use any kind of material, such as paper, paints and so on. I wanted to use mostly paper, so I make use of all the old magazines and newspapers I have at home.

The last few days I've been listening too much to Lana del Rey, I've listened to almost all her albums, remembering when I was super fan of her, now not so much and I think that's why I started listening to her music again. And thanks to that, I made this art journal, inspired by her.

At first I was a little hesitant about how to do it, but in the end I went with the idea of making a small portrait drawing of Lana and then I would do the decoration. I didn't want to saturate the art journal too much, as I sometimes do, because in this case, I wanted Lana's portrait to stand out and indeed, it is the first thing you see when you look at the art journal.
Al principio dude un poco de como hacerlo, pero al final me fui con la idea de hacer un pequeño dibujo a retrato de Lana y luego haría el decorado. To finish the art journal, after the decoration, I wanted to integrate a phrase from one of my favorite Lana's songs, which is "Born to Die"_*. The phrase reads as follows:
Para terminar el art journal, después del decorado, quise integrar una frase de unas de mis canciones favoritas de Lana, la cual es "Born to Die"_*. La frase dice lo siguiente:

I love that phrase, plus it was important to add a phrase from some of his songs, to give that final touch to the work.
Amo esa frase, además era importante agregar alguna frase de algunas de sus canciones, para darle ese toque final al trabajo.
