Nationalism in 19th century experienced the tendency to eclectic synthesis on the ground of trend towards self-determination and acknowledgement of common identity. The national unification in Italy and Germany represented by "the Italian and German unification" was a direct result of this excitement. In the middle of the 20th century, these nationalist movements, rooted in decolonisation, burst on both the Asian and African continents. We can be proud of who we are, but at the same time, nationalism can lead our nation to be intolerant to the people from other incenses, or the conflict between nations. And to this people, nationalism is a completely different story.
