CONSEJO9S DE LA ABUELA
Una tarde mi abuela me guiñó el ojo
como dándome un mandato
que cuidaito y me antojaba
de lo que no puedas tener
y si es ajeno no lo envidies
que otros tiempos vendrán
y la vida será distinta
siempre erguida la frente
no vayas a morder el anzuelo
de tomar lo que no es tuyo.
Así era mi abuela
con su carácter tosco
hablaba con su rostro
no necesitaba palabras
para decirme cosas
y alertarme sobre lo malo
porque lo bueno viene solo
cuando somos honesto ante la vida
sea cual sea la circunstancia
hay que tener constancia
para crear el carácter
que ante todos sea para el respeto
y nunca te sientas aludido
por cosas necias.
La abuela siempre creía saberlo todo
pero era la abuela
la voz de la experiencia
y llegar a ochenta años
no es poca cosa cuando la vida
se encarga de enseñarte
a encontrar el camino justo
y si te pierdes nunca escuchaste
los consejos de la abuela.
No seas terco
debes hacer caso a lo que te educa
a lo que te forma como gente
y te enseña el camino de la victoria
al final que ni esperabas.
ADVICE FROM GRANDMA
One afternoon my grandmother winked at me
as if giving me a command
to be careful and I wanted
to have what you cannot have
and if it is someone else's, do not envy it
because other times will come

always keep your head up
do not bite the bait
of taking what is not yours.
That was my grandmother
with her rough character
she spoke with her face

and warn me about the bad

that is for respect before everyone
and never feel alluded
by foolish things.
Grandma always thought she knew everything
but grandma was
the voice of experience
and reaching eighty years old
is no small thing when life
is in charge of teaching you
to find the right path
and if you get lost you never listened
to grandma's advice.
Don't be stubborn
you must pay attention to what educates you
to what forms you as a person
and shows you the path to victory
in the end that you never expected.
