Namaste š
Hope you are doing great!!!
This is going to be the last part of this series (Landour infinity walk) in which we go back to Mussoorie after successfully completing the full circle or Chakkar of Landour infinity loop.
If you havenāt been through the first three parts of this series, Iām putting the link below-
From Lal Tibba to Kellogg Memorial Churchā
After a hearty lunch at the rooftop restaurant at Lal Tibba and immersing ourselves in the stunning landscapes of Himalayas, it was time to complete the Infinity Loop by continuing our journey towards the Landour market again. The same street continues via other side of the forest and connects at Paulās Church. This part of the walk is also very scenic and tranquil with the street going through dense forest.
After walking for about 10 minutes, we came across this beautiful private property situated above the street. It looked like a kind of house people imagine in their dreams. It was secluded, with no house around 500m from it and was so beautifully designed and maintained that youād surely fall in love with it. It was full of greenery and flowers. Very elegantly decorated and had a really positive vibe coming from it. I wondered how lucky would the people living in it be!!!
We continued our journey through the woods and soon reached near Kellogg Memorial Church. There was a little parking space for small cars and two wheelers outside this church and there was some governor buildings on the opposite side of the road.
This church was built in 20th century in1903 and considering its age, it still looked in great shape. It was initially used as school of language training for British people and they learned Hindi language here.
It was named after Mr. Kellogg because he had written a lot of books on Hindi literature which was very useful for the British people during their British Raj times. It was later converted to a church.
It was closed on the day we were there so we were not able to get inside this beautiful building. We took some pictures there and moved ahead towards the Paulās church. Actually there are two roads from Paulās church thatās how we complete the infinity loop of Landour.
Completing the infinity loopā
We reached at the St. Paulās Church after walking for around 10 minutes and the street merged with the original street we came from completing the infinity loop. Itās named so because you can walk infinitely in this loop and will never get bored out of it.
You can read about the St. Paulās Church in my last blog if you want. Iām putting the link to that below for your convenienceā
We now started walking towards Mussoorie, we wanted to cover this area on foot only so kept on walking. It was around 3:30 PM and by this time, some clouds started to appear in the sky. I was not able to capture photos during this time as my phone was low on battery at 5% left.
Reaching back to Mussoorieā
We reached Mussoorie around 6 PM and we took a couple rests in between our walk. It was an amazing experience walking in the streets of Landour and now of Mussoorie all day. We discovered many beautiful places and saw some of the best views one can see. Now we were exploring Mussoorieās famous Mall Road.
It was a perfect evening to discover Mall Road as it was a full moon that night. In spite of having 1% battery in my phone, I couldnāt resist capturing the above photo.
We also saw an old building in the middle of the Mall Road and didnāt knew what it was. It looked a little bit haunted to us. These are the only two photos which I captured in the Mall Road and then we headed back to our bnb which was in the boundary of Landour and Mussoorie.
We reached at our bnb around 8 PM and had a wonderful day full of experiences. I hope I was able to convey my experiences though all the parts of this series and in more than thankful for all the love and support Iāve been getting.
Thatās all for today.
Thanks for passing by!!!
Peace ā®ļø
