At first I thought that I would not write an article about this cycling trip, but in the end it turned out differently as you can see.
In the morning, I prepared my things, checked the bike and I go along the dirt road through the field we have near the city. Of course I took my camera with me. You know, if something interests me, let me take a picture of it. However, my goal is to cycle along forest roads, relax a bit and improve my fitness.
I'm going along a forest road that I know well. I come here often. The road climbs slightly, but there are also sections that give me a hard time. Don't tell anyone, but in a certain part I got off my bike and had to push it. I still need to work on my fitness.
I'm coming to the turn signal. I decide which way to go. Do I go the one I know or the one I haven't gone yet. I decided to learn something new and continue on a path I don't know.
It didn't take long to come here. It was with this view that I decided to take pictures and write an article about my cycling trip.
The road rises slowly. The climb is gradual and I'm glad I don't have to push the bike.
In front of me I see Muráň hill. My goal is below the peak.
In the valley, in the forest, the village of Novoveská Huta is hidden. As the name implies, mines were located here in the past and mining took place here. Although we can still find one here today, and gypsum is mined in it.
The weather outside is pleasant. Neither heat nor cold. In short, just the weather for cycling, which I thoroughly enjoy.
I will never get tired of this sight. In the distance you can see the High Tatras. It is true that I have not seen them from this angle and from this place. They are beautiful, what do you say?
On the way I meet only one older married couple. No one else. I am alone in the forest. I'm not surprised, it's a working day after all.
And I'm here! The destination of my journey is in sight. Poľana pod Muráň. I am at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level and I will not go higher. Now I have to decide whether to go back or go down the hiking trail, which is shorter.
I decided to go down the hiking trail. Well, it wasn't exactly the best decision. The road began to narrow after a few meters and from time to time I had an obstacle in front of me in the form of a fallen tree. It wasn't very good for cycling, so I pushed the bike quite often.
However, the beautiful nature in the form of these flowers made my journey more pleasant.
As soon as it was possible, I connected to the forest road and after it I got to the asphalt road that went to the village of Novoveská Huta. Exactly to the one I saw from the mountain.
Here I already connected to the paved cycle path, which I followed until I reached the city.
I am pleasantly tired and relaxed at the same time. It was a beautifully spent day, after which I gained a lot of mental strength.

Najprv som si myslel že o tomto cyklovýlete nebudem písať článok, no nakoniec to dopadlo inak ako vidíte.
Ráno som si nachystal veci, skontroloval bicykel a po prašnej ceste idem cez pole, ktoré máme pri meste. Samozrejme som si so sebou zobral fotoaparát. To viete, keby ma niečo zaujalo nech si to odfotím. Mojím cieľom však je pobicyklovať sa po lesných cestách, trochu sa odreagovať a zlepšiť si kondičku.
Idem po lesnej ceste, ktorú dobre poznám. Chodím tu často. Cesta mierne stúpa, no sú tu aj úseky, ktoré mi dávajú poriadne zabrať. Nikomu to nepovedzte, ale v určitej časti som zosadol z bicykla a musel som ho tlačiť. Musím na tej kondičke ešte popracovať.
Prichádzam k smerníku. Rozhodujem sa, ktorou cestou budem pokračovať. Či pôjdem tou, ktorú poznám, alebo tou, ktorou som ešte nešiel. Rozhodol som sa, že spoznám niečo nové a ďalej pôjdem cestou ktorú nepoznám.
Netrvalo dlho a prišiel som sem. Práve pri tomto výhľade som sa rozhodol, že budem fotiť a predsa len vám o mojom cyklovýlete článok napíšem.
Cesta pomaly stúpa. Stúpanie je pozvoľné a som rád, že nemusím tlačiť bicykel.
Pred sebou vidím vrch Muráň. Môj cieľ sa nachádza pod vrcholom.
V doline, v lese sa ukrýva dedina Novoveská Huta. Ako už z názvu vyplýva, v minulosti sa tu nachádzali bane a prebiehala tu ťažba. Síce jednu tu nájdeme ešte aj dnes a ťaží sa v nej sádrovec.
Vonku je príjemné počasie. Ani teplo ani zima. Skrátka akurát počasie na bicyklovanie ktoré si naplno užívam.
Tento pohľad ma nikdy neomrzí. V diaľke môžete vidieť Vysoké Tatry. Je pravda, že z tohto uhla a z tohto miesta som ich ešte nevidel. Sú krásne, čo poviete?
Cestou stretávam iba jeden starší manželský pár. Inak nikoho. V lese som sám. Nečudujem sa, predsa len je pracovný deň.
A už som tu! Cieľ mojej cesty je na dohľad. Poľana pod Muráňom. Nachádzam sa v nadmorskej výške 1000 metrov nad morom a vyššie už nepôjdem. Teraz sa musím rozhodnúť či sa vrátim späť, alebo pôjdem dole po turistickej ceste ktorá je kratšia.
Rozhodol som sa, že dole pôjdem po turistickej ceste. No nebolo to práve najlepšie rozhodnutie. Cesta sa po niekoľkých metroch začala zužovať a z času na čas som mal pred sebou prekážku v podobe spadnutého stromu. Na bicyklovanie to veľmi nebolo a tak som bicykel dosť často tlačil.
Cestu mi však spríjemňovala pekná príroda aj v podobe týchto kvetov.
Hneď, ako to bolo možné som sa napojil na lesnú cestu a po nej som sa dostal na asvaltku, ktorá šla do dediny Novoveská Huta. Presne do tej, ktorú som videl z hora.
Tu som sa už napojil na vyasvaltovaný cyklo chodník, po ktorom som prišiel až do mesta.
Som príjemne unavený a zároveň zrelaxovaný. Bol to krásne strávený deň, po ktorom som načerpal množstvo psychických síl.
