June Hive Power Up Day, Monthly Goals and Powering Up LEO

in LeoFinance3 years ago (edited)

As usual, the first of the month is it means it's time for another Hive Power Up Day. So it's time to check up on my goals and make sure to set my next month's goal.

Hive Power Up Day

More information about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) can be found at the June HPUD by "@"traciyork. Last month was a fairly good month and I was able to earn around 220 HP. Author rewards are looking nice and I have had fun commenting due to the increased engagement from the LeoFinance Engagement League.

My current HP before powering up is 2,997 HP and I plan on powering up 25 HIVE again this month. The results of this can be seen in the picture below and here is the transaction link.

Follow up on my Saturday Saver's Challenge for 2022 and you can see the fifth addition of 31.65 HBD. The price of Hive has dropped a lot since last month so I haven't been adding much to my savings in the middle of the month.

Monthly Goals

Here I will set my goals for the month and review my previous month's goals.

Previous Month Summary

Here I will review the goals I set for my May goals.
leo power up.png

I staked the 500 LEO and it's more than what I set as my goal due to Khal's extra LEO each week. Rather than letting it sit there, I plan on using it to increase my stake and voting value on the LeoFinance platform.

I did not keep track of my comment count but I know that I have been doing above 50 per day on average so I am above my goals. My Index order did my fill by the time I started this post so I decided to just do a market buy so that goal from two months ago is done. My UTOPIS buy went through and I staked it so there are no issues on that end.

I did my monthly CUB add and I choose the CUB kingdom. It was a bit late but I think CUB is being overlooked and it has a lot of potential to boom when the new Defi systems or features from PolyCUB get implemented.

June goals

I will just use the monthly goals as usual because I haven't set any yearly goals.

  1. 3 Blog Posts a week (Actifit does not count for this)
  2. 1,000 comments for the month
  3. 3,500 HP
  4. 2,700 Leo Power Staked (add 200 LEO)
  5. Buy 10 UTOPIS
  6. Invest at least 200 LEO to the CUB related Defi platforms
  7. Maintain top 75 ranks in Rising Star
  8. Finish Splinterlands quest daily

The reasoning for these can be found in my January goals. For the most part, I just plan on continuing these goals as they seem manageable. I just decided to do UTOPIS again as it seems easier to fill these orders and I think having fiat money come into Hive helps.

Conclusion

There isn't too much going on but I powered up and set my goals for the upcoming month.

What are your goals? Are you making good progress on them?

Please feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions or feedback.

Happy hive power up 🥳🥳🐝

It's always nice to power up and see where you stand on your goals. It keeps you accountable to an extent.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

It sure is. I saw so many powering up and so many first timers. Would be interesting to see the stars. Think we crushed some numbers.

Yes, it does in some extent.

Yea and I saw a post about the new Leo Power Up Day. It's going to be interesting to make a post about that as well.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Yes, saw that too this morning… now I don’t see any posts in any feeds anymore hahaha lol

Would be interesting to see. Hope many will enter, it’s fun 🦁🦁🦁

I can still see posts in my feed but my replies are all black screened. It's too bad LeoFinance is having so many issues.

It sure is, I gave up most of the day. But I was busy anyways. Didn’t have time to wait and try over and over again.
This is my third comment today that will work.

These stats are cool and I like your goals.
I need to actually make some and have some focus, too much is wishy washy oh I will do this and do that and end up doing up a mishmash of sweet fa.
I would like to get some more LEO that is for sure.

Making a goal would probably be enough and if you make enough comments from LeoFinance, you should get some sweet LEO from Khal. Get that each week and that is like 400 extra LEO a month.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

Ah yes I did comment last week and finish above him, but didn't get any LEO, probably because I never posted. Well we shall see what happens, but today I can't even use it, won't show me posts or the replies I need to reply to. So am back to ecency.
Goal is on the agenda, I am also looking at all these layer 2 tokens and seeing where to build etc!

Yea LeoFinance has been having issues and I can't seem to access my replies right now either. I will have to go check back in on it tomorrow.

oh well I am sure it will be fine next week:)

I did not keep track of my comment count but I know that I have been doing above 50 per day on average so I am above my goals.

Usually you are in/around the top 5 of the engagement league. I really admire your dedication and enthusiasm on this platform. Nowadays you are one of the most socially active users on the Hive blockchain.

Congratulations for your achievements, and good luck and all the best for your plans.

Have a nice day. All the best. Greetings and much love from Hungary.

It's hard because I am cutting some sleeping time but I think it's worth it. I have been slacking off a bit while things are busy at work right now.

It's quite amazing how many initiative there are on Hive to encourage users to get involved and interact with other Hivers, we just heard about HPUD and it seems like a good way to push the small accounts to grow their stack and have a more long term mindset about the Hive token and crypto in general.

You mentioned Polycub in your post, which caught our attention because we've been very involved with the Polycub ecosystem by adding all the farms and the xPolycub vault to our DeFi tracker, which allows users to track their positions with a lot of details regarding cost, value and profits earned. If you have any DeFi investments, we would appreciate if you check out our recently launched website app at https://defireturn.app

I was planning on writing a post about the applications that I could use to track the Defi investments and I'll add it to the list whenever I do write it. I might still check to see if anyone else knows about the tool because I am skeptical about connecting my wallet to less-known applications.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta

We are currently going over the listing on sites like dappradar, we know it's hard to trust lesser-known sites if they are not listed anywhere, thanks for the feedback! The cool part about this app is that it doesn't require connecting the wallet, you can just run it where the arrow is:

Try it out with a wallet that you don't have the keys, and it works the same, there are no security issues on the app, but we figured that option would give users an extra layer of confidence.

I have been busy lately but I will give it a try later. I am glad I can access the tools even without connecting my wallet
