Leo was always the focus for the team. CUB and all the other stuff was just a run off to boost Leo. Remember all transactions in the Leo Finance world burn Leo.
I have since altered my position and focusing more on Building Leo holdings. Less risk for me but I lost a little. Great project and great team.
Yes, that is why I went fairly big into LBI. Since it is backed by LEO and grows on top of LEO, it's a great way to play the entire LeoFinance landscape in one token. Plus, you get to take advantage of all the amazing curation being done by @taskmaster4450 and others.
Don't get me wrong, I'm stacking my own LEO as fast as I can, but this is another way to grow your bags without having to put any effort in. Basically just read and curate the daily LBI articles and HODL.

I'm hoping for a 80c - $1 (us) new normal. The hard fork has provided us with some wonderful new projects that seem to be joining and gaming is leading the way.
Only wish I dumped more cash. But can you ever have enough cash to out onto it?
I when I started the hive was at about 0.26 or 0.28 for me it was a big climb so I'm sorry I didn't get in even earlier. But I have high hopes that soon by the end of the year will reach 1 and stabilize there.
80c becoming normal would be so good. I can generate a decent part-time income from this. I am sure many are already doing this full-time. There's is unlimited potential.

It really is. I built most of my stake around 30-40 cents so this is great. Need to make another jump with it though. If it does manage to fall back to the 50 cent level, I will be using fiat to add more rather than just growing it organically.

New rewards cards are coming out next Monday and then Chaos Legion packs are on the way in the next 6 weeks as well. Plus, I would think they'd have to start leaking some PLOT info pretty soon as I think that's slated to be implemented by the end of the year. The numbers are getting crazier every day.

one thing I like about Mark is he's dislike of the SEC. SEC needs to seriously be put in it's place. It's there to protect it's citizens not restrict them. Imagine saying oh hell no every day people can only earn 0.05% in a savings account while inflation is 5% and since your offering something close which is still a stable investment we aren't going to allow you. BS on the SEC seriously I don't think ANYONE likes the SEC anymore.

They are always late to the things that matter because they want a huge payout from it. Nearly none of the money is ever returned to investors it's all eaten up by their goonies (lawyers).
His shark tank friend Kevin is coming up with DeFi project and so I am sure cuban would be interested in regulating so that he can clean his hands easily. To be honest cuban sounds not to smart considering he spent money on Titan which is not a proven crypto project out there.
Well I think he prefers regulations because they support the rich (including him).

Regulations are said to protect the little guy by establishing minimum standards to assure quality, but regulations are put in place as barriers to entry for the little guy to keep the fat cats in their positions.

El Salvador is the first nation to make Bitcoin a legal tender cryptocurrency, but did Ukraine become the 2nd nation to do so? Not so fast, according to Nasdaq.com:
This could be FUD, but I don't think it is. Ukraine is on its way, but it hasn't gone all the way. This means that by the time Ukraine goes all the way some other country could have gone full El Salvador with Bitcoin or crypto in general.

I've been banging on about Luna last few days but the more I find out the more alluring it is. Currently just hype but looks like Terra Network will have a card that you can load with crypto and just go shopping. Currently they have a dapp which is mainly being used successfully in South Korea.
Bit of a rally due to colombus 5 upgrade but who knows if it will dip or rally more once completed. Interesting times ahead for Terra.
I am guessing its mainly supported in Korea right? It seems there is a lot of hype but I think I will avoid it for now.

Terra (LUNA) is big in South Korea and Southeast Asia more broadly. It can work elsewhere, but that's where the greatest activity is. Part of that is due to the acceptance and proliferation of mobile payment systems (among them Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, and whatever was made regionally). With 45+ of those mobile payment systems used there, there is great incentive to use Terra.

A $45 million Bitcoin-backed loan from Galaxy Digital could allow Argo Blockchain to HODL the BTC on its balance sheet as it looks to build a 200MW Bitcoin mining facility in Texas.

Because the alternative is depending on someone else for advice and future direction which in today's age is not a good option.
But most of the people do go through online forums to know what should they do with their money, how can that be stopped
You can't. Asking advice often is like using google maps for navigation or using compass in sea.
You have to ask when it is necessary and not ask or listen when the advice is overkill or unnecessary.
Minimal debt equals financial freedom.
The above will make one financially sound. I know, as I am financially sound as a pensioner. I have more assets than liabilities and an excellent credit rating. This is thanks to Leo Finance and other HIVE projects.

That's the most fundamental equation from Basic Accounting. I forgot much of what I learned in the one class I had to take in college long ago, but this equation I remembered.
Keep as much as possible of what you have, borrow as little as possible of what you don't have.
Along the way adjust spending habits so that more money is saved. For most people, this will make a massive difference.

I had two years of accounting in High School during my Junior and Senior years. My accounting teacher was Mr. Zukal who always wore a three piece suit in class. I believe he was a CPA.
On a side note; one of the many jobs I had after leaving the military was working through a temp service as a bookkeeper for Forsyth County in North Carolina. It was part-time.

Accounting is a useful discipline, and while not as difficult as derivative calculus it can still be mentally taxing due to keeping track of the paper trails that need to be in order to make sure there are no discepancies in the balance sheet or just informally keeping track of cash flow. My end-of-year project which should have lasted 2 or 3 hours took me 12 hours to complete because I had to backtrack to see where I lost a small amount of dollars.

Well...prices go up and down. It doesn't always go up and I think its probably a side effect of the flash crash. Even SPS from Splinterlands dropped in price.

I can't give you financial advice but what I can recommend is lurking in the Axie infinity forums, reddit and facebook groups would help you get idea when to buy and sell. Avoid on-the-face speculation and follow you guts.
I try joing there discord and it reached max limit! But i dont had idea of asking of reddit that i will definitely do. And fb groups i dont see them as a important tool for research.

Some people here play Splinterlands. A few more people here are familiar with how Splinterlands works, even if they don't play.
Some people here are also sports fans, and I'm guessing some of you have done fantasy sports at some point in your lives. Fantasy baseball, fantasy football (NFL or NCAA), fantasy footbal (FIFA, Rabona, etc.), fantasy basketball, fantasy hockey (NHL, KHL, Eurpean Leagues)-- you get the idea.

Given how popular NFL-style fantasy football is, and given the popularity of Splinterlands, all I saw were $$$ when this idea occurred to me.

For Splinterlands, there appear to be 2 ways we could implement the Fantasy aspect:
Splinterlands itself is played as normal. Battles and card rentals are done as usual. The Fantasy aspect is an added layer to gain the interest of the non-player. This is what makes it big for the NFL.

I thought Rabona was more of a simulator where you build your team and add enhancements like better contracts and facilities. That's not the same as fantasy sports where we make a lineup based on real players and follow their stats throughout the season.

I think that out of the 2 ways you mentioned, the 2nd one would be better for a fantasy format because players are unique while cards can have duplicates. You still could use cards and maybe get the average of their performance on all battles on a given week, but I think it would work better with players
