I’m in pretty desperate need of new sources of income. I’d rather double down on my writing then do something I hate. I have books to sell but need a bigger audience. Has anyone had any success building a following at Substack or Medium?
I’m hoping that the “OnlyLEOs” (pattern/substack-like feature) where users can subscribe to authors who have some of their content behind a paywall will be the solution to this
This has been a desire of mine for a long time. I believe it could have a massively positive impact on the platform
I believe in the current vision of Leo and I do not say that to kiss your ass. I only stayed at hive this long because I felt a good balance of idealism and realism in projects like this and some of the core development and long term community members.
We really need more onboarding and retention though. Like desperately. Name recognition would make it easier, getting a few people with significant followings loyal to the cause. I always hope that by branching out I can help with that eventually.
Im on the same situation, i try to not think much about it and focus on learn more and do more. Isnt easy, reality still there... But training the mind to focus on the important is the right path, health, love ones, and evolution
