El Salvador is the first nation to make Bitcoin a legal tender cryptocurrency, but did Ukraine become the 2nd nation to do so? Not so fast, according to Nasdaq.com:
It is important to note that even though bitcoin is now legal in Ukraine, that does not mean that BTC is legal tender in the country. That will require a whole other bill for that to happen in the future.
This could be FUD, but I don't think it is. Ukraine is on its way, but it hasn't gone all the way. This means that by the time Ukraine goes all the way some other country could have gone full El Salvador with Bitcoin or crypto in general.
If you put your bets on Paraguay being #2, there is still a chance.

Well I did put Paraguay as my number 2 I think on the diamond guessing.

Most of the buzz for #2 has surrounded Paraguay and Nigeria, but it could conceiovably be any country or region.

I believe Panama will be the next Country to adopt Bitcoin as a currency. Lots of offshore accounts in that Nation. Do not be surprised when it happens, you heard it here first.

For the same reasons you state, I will go with Cayman Islands. Either way, crypto investors will flock tho these places.

Oh that's also a good pick. I think there are quite a few crypto businesses headquartered there

Interesting choice. I wasn't thinking about them but now that you mentioned it, I can see that.
I've never been there myself but I know a bit about the country and I think they are a good candidate indeed.

I was in Panama during the '80s with the Marine Corps. Beautiful Nation and wonderful people. I could have done without the Panamanian Defense Forces (PDF) taking pot shots at us. Occupational hazard in the Corps. 🤣

My proverbial money is on Paraguay as well. They have shown to be at the vanguard of many things in South America so I wouldn't be surprised.
In fact, I think if they still had their former president, this would be a done deal by now

Would you say that Paraguay would have beaten El Salvador to #1 ?

Hmm hard to say because I think it was El Salvador that sparked this whole thing so I'd say no
