I think one reason is because of POB tokenomics since it follows BTC. As there isn't much supply out, the APR is still pretty high and the tokens per day will drop in the future.

I think there is not much rationale behind it asides from speculation. They are speculating based on the development and community behind the coin.
I am buying (and earning) pob and Leo because for those two reasons

I wonder how Brainers are handling the change to the front-end? I'm used to using Ecency for notifications and management functions, but it throws me off for actual posting.

Funny you should say that because I was just talking about it with a couple of people.
From what I could gather, they see the new front end as an improvement from the old one but many people still prefer to use other frontends, such as PeakD, which is regarded by many as the best frontend.

Old habits tend to be hard to break. In some ways the new front-end for PoB is better than the previous front-end. I haven't been posting there as much as I had in the past, but the front-end was not the reason for that. I'll post again at PoB soon; I just need more material to post about.

I like the new one better except for the color scheme. I think the old colors are much better than the new blue theme.

Absolutely. It's like LeoFinance switching to purple and lime; not a good fit.
If the PoB developers were able to customize the front-end for PoB, I think they should be able to incorporate the original PoB color scheme. I don't know how hard it would be to make that sort of change, so I'll just leave it there.

Yeah it is something that got a hot start but is not seeing a great deal of rolling out. This is a problem for most of the tribes.
This is why Leofinance is so powerful. The development keeps rolling out.
