Check out LUCKSACKS.COM. They have been around a long time. I love poker but have not played on their site in a while. Great development team and solid folks that run the site! You can win HIVE and it is free to play, free to win.
Only downside is trying to get a table together. We have a core group of people that have played over the years and, I do not know why, just not a lot of participation.
@guiltyparties introduced me to the game. He is one of the original devs.

Does Lucksacks have a player-versus-computer option? That could make it easier to draw players when gathering enough for a table is difficult.
With all kinds of people getting into crypto, and many of them looking into blockchain gaming, many would be more open to old-school type games such as puzzles and gambling.
I'll need to sign up to play Lucksacks and see how well I do. Once I have some experience I can relate to others, then I can use my D.Buzz account to hype the game a bit and see how that goes. Blockchain gaming and p2e isn't just for the youngsters!

No they do not have that option. Just regular humans. There is a chat on the tables as well. You just sign up and let them know your HIVE account so you can withdraw your winnings when you are ready.
Winnings stay in-game until you go to the cashier and put in a request to withdraw.

The player-versus-computer option is a "nice to have" feature; it's not essential.
The chat at the tables must get heated on occasion with some trash-talking. I had better be careful.
